A Demon's Love (Shadow Heart's POV)

The Butler

I slowly made my way down the streets of London, searching for my next victim. My name is Shadow Heart. I'm a wolf demon. I usually take form of a normal 16 year old girl with long dark sliver hair, but when I'm not, I have my ears and tail present.

"So... Who's next?" I look around, eyeing every human I saw. None of them seemed to be worth my time. I walked into an alleyway and leaned against the wall, the cold bricks touching my arm. Suddenly my nose catches a scent. No. Two scents.

A demon.... I sniff once more to make sure I was correct.

And.... A grim reaper? I ran to the wall in the alleyway and climbed up, looking over. About half a mile away, I see a large mansion. And in front of the mansion I see a person with long red hair and a butler with black hair.

"Huh...." They seemed to be verbally fighting because the redhead glomped the butler, who then shoved him away. I wanted to see more so I got a closer look.

I finally got close enough to hear what they were saying. The red head looked at the black haired butler and said, "Oh BASSY! Your the only one for me!" Wait... This person, is a DUDE?! He looked like a chick! A little.... The butler groaned with annoyance.

"Grell, just leave!" He looked really annoyed.

"I know you want me, Sebas-chan!~" the guy I assumed was Grell, swayed his hips. Sebas-chan? Oh! The black haired guy must be named Sebastian. I walked out in the open, hiding my tail and ears. They both looked over.

"Who is that?!" Grell looked at me, annoyance in his eyes.

"I don't know, Grell... But leave me alone and stop being a pervert." Sebastian's eyebrow gave a small twitch. I couldn't help but laugh.

"HEY! I am not perverted!" Grell yelled at us, folded his arms and looked away. I just laughed more. Sebastian gave a small laugh then said, "You are perverted!" Grell grinned.

"Only to my BASSY!" I had a sudden poker face.

"Nopenopenope!" I grabbed Sebastian's arm and pulled him away to safety, which is about a few feet away.

"BASSY! NOOOO!" Grell started for us, then Sebastian wrapped his arms around me. W-Wha....

"Grell, no." Grell stopped dead in his traced and did a "cute" pose.

"But, Bassy! What about me?" I felt his grip on me get a little tighter. "No." Grell frowned.

"What do you even see in that animal person.... Thing?!" Ouch. I tensed up, and my eyes began to water. I may be a demon, but I do have feelings! I sniffled. I heard a growl come from Sebastian.

"INTELLEGENCE, KINDNESS AND BEAUTY! UNLIKE YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" I felt my face get warm, but I continued to cry into him.

Grell stood there, frozen, staring into Sebastian's angry eyes. Then he turned and face away. "Hmmf! Fine! OH WILLIAM!~<3" then off went Grell.

Sebastian sighed and looked down to me. "Please don't cry." I looked up and he gave me a warm smile.

"I-I'm....*sniff* I-I'm sorry...." I wipe my eyes, my black ears bend down. He kept smiling and lifted my head. "It's okay. You did nothing wrong..." I pushed him away and looked into his eyes. My memories field back into my head from that one night.

"Didn't do anything wrong, huh?" I growled. "How about killing the ones you love b-because you were scared! A-and..." The memories kept filling my mind and I couldn't take it anymore. I fell to my knees and cried even more. "I-I just don't want to be a monster... A demon... I want to be a normal girl!"

He smiled and leaned down to me. "You aren't a monster, and you are normal..." I growled.

"Then what is so normal about THIS?!" I lifted my head, showing my eyes. They were all black, red mist emitting from the corner of each eye. He sighed and knelt down.

"It's just who you are. I'm a demon. My true form is vile, repulsive and unsightly." He looked at me.

"How can you be VILE?! YOUR.... Y-your...." My eye color slowly turned back to normal, and I looked away.

"My demon form is vile and unsightly..." He looked away from me. I wiped my eyes and softly took hold of his face so he can look at me.

"I don't believe you..... I rarely find things vile..." I felt my face get warm and I let go of his face. "S-sorry..." He chuckled and shook his head.

"Quit apologizing. You did nothing wrong. And I don't think there's anything wrong with you." I rolled my eyes, and then wiped away the last remaining tear on my cheek.

"Of course you don't... Demons don't get scared." I folded my arms and rested them on my knees.

"Actually, demons do fear things, but we don't show it..... We see it as a sign of weakness." He looked at my face. It was quiet for a while, then I broke the silence.

"So....." I messed with my black wolf tail for a little bit. "Do you fear anything? I-if you don't mind me asking!" I look at him and he looks up. He gives me a slight smile and closes his eyes.

"Death of those I've got a liking to. Rejection. Pain." I look away.

"S-same..." My heart started to beat a bit fast. Then my ears started twitching in weird ways. "God damnit!" I covered my ears with my hands. Sebastian opened his eyes and looked at me.

"What's wrong with your ears?" I looked up, and felt my face get a bit warm. W-why do my wolf hormones have to act up NOW?!

"T-they, umm..... They're j-just being stupid.... This happens w-when....." I shut my mouth. No. I can't tell him, I don't want to make this awkward! Then one of my ears poked between my fingers. "No!" And I cover it back up.

Sebastian smiles and removes my hands from my head. I felt my heart beat speed up more. Sebastian had a curious face and he felt the fur on my ear. "Soft." A smile grew on his face a bit.

Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap crap crap. Crapcrapcrapcrap! Please don't! Sebastian kept petting my ears, then one of his fingers brushed against a sensitive part on my ears. "Guah!" I backed away and covered my ears once more. I blushed at my reaction.

"I-I-I'm sorry!" He chuckled.

"It's fine." Then he stood. My wolf side started to take over. Shit...

Shadow tackled Sebastian, making him fall over. She lied on his body and smirked. "I'm tired..."
