Sang POV

I quickly run home because I think that my father is in trouble. Once I get there, I see a big mess and lots of smoke in the basement. People think that my father is a crazy mad man, but he is a genius

"Papa, are you still there?" I ask worried. I see movement, and I run to help him up.

Papa gets up and looks a little bit frazzled, but he looks safe and all in one piece.

"I have a leave town for a little while, I have that fair to go to remember?" Papa says and gives me a hug.

We walk back into the house so he can pack his bag. He might not always be around, but he is my father and I love him. I know he loves me.

While he finishes packing his bag, I go out to feed the chickens and the pigs.

That Rocky is such a—I don't even know what to call him. But if he thinks that I am going to marry him and bear his children, he really is crazy. And not just because he talks about himself in the third person.

My father is getting ready to leave. He packs up the horse, Philippe. "Have fun at the fair, Papa! Good luck and take care."

Watching my father go on his way makes me think. I really want to go and explore the world that is out there.

Maurice POV

We are off to the fair and there is a fork in the road. One that looks bright and sunny and one that looks dark and scary.

The dark and scary one looks like a shortcut, so I turn Philippe down that one, but that crazy horse wants to go down the other one.

Once I notice that we are lost, I try to turn Philippe around. There are wolves everywhere, and he gets scared I fall off of him and then he just takes off.

It is cold and dark, and there are wolves coming after me. I get up and try to run.

I come up to a big iron gate and go through it. The wolves are right on the other side. Picking up my hat, I turn to run inside. But before I could grab it that wolves snap at me, so I just leave it.

There is a big castle. I quickly get inside. It looks empty, apart from voices, but I do not know where they are coming from.

I pick up a candle so I can look around, then there is talking again.

"Hello... Hello, is someone there...," I say.

"Hello, Monsieur," the candle in my hand says.

I have lost it, and I am lying somewhere in the forest just waiting for the wolves to eat me before I freeze to death.

Picking up the clock, I move the hands around to wind it up, and it is telling me to stop. Then I sneeze on the clock face.

"Monsieur, you are freezing! My name is Lumiere, and this is Cogsworth. Please follow me to warm up." I follow the candle, whose name is Lumiere, to an office where there is a fire and a nice big chair.

I sit down in the nice big chair and then a footstool comes running in and barking like a dog. Then I put my feet up and in comes a coat rack, teapot and cup.

I take a sip of tea, and the cup starts to move and laugh.

"His moustache tickles, mama," the little cup says.

I go to take another sip, but the door busts open and all the candles go out. Then there is a roar before I get asked what I am doing in this castle. I try to say that I was lost in the woods, then just found this place.

Lumiere, also tries to tell him that I was lost and cold, but then it just blows his lights out and comes to me.

But what I now know is a big evil looking beast, he just thinks that I have come to stare at him, and he grabs me and takes me to a dungeon. What is going to happen to Sang if I never get out of here?

She will have to look after the house and somehow make money to live off.
