Keziah's POV
We soon made our way back to our apartment. I changed into some pajamas and put on my comfy bunny slippers. I walked back into the living and grabbed an apple. I took a bite then looked over to see Savannah on the couch already asleep. Wow that dinner must of gotten her quite fatigued. I rubbed my eyes, getting a bit weary. I went back into my room biting my apple in the process. I opened my window and poked my head out of it. The polluted air smelled disgusting but the wind in my face felt nice.
I closed my window then plopped on my bed. I felt my eyes start getting to the state where I almost was asleep, until obnoxious knocking was on our front door. I walked out my room and made my way to the front door. I glanced over my shoulder to see Savannah still asleep. Deep sleeper much.
I brushed my black hair through my fingers then looked through the peeping hole of the door. It was a boy wearing a leather jacket, a gray shirt, and some black pants. He looked up then I backed up from the door. What if he's danger? I asked myself. YOLO isn't a great saying right now. I opened the door cautiously. "H-hey..." I said stuttering a bit.
"Sup." He said. "Why are you here?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Just to knock on people's door." He replied touching up his hair through his hands. I looked at my wrist and saw nothing. What the hell... I put my hand on my forehead and slammed the door shut. What has the boy done!? I tried to fix the watch several times. I heard the footsteps get softer and softer. I started shaking Savannah wildly. "Savannah! My watch it:'s just, BLANK!" I exclaimed. She looked at hers. "Mine is completely fine." She said looking at her watch.
I looked back at mine and started shaking my wrist. I saw as the time slowly transitioned back onto the watch. "Okay mine is fine again..." I said. "There was a boy at the door, and that's when my watch started acting, wonky!" I whisper yelled, revealing some of my childish side. "Well we just need to know the boy, and avoid him then we're good!" She whispered back. She threw a pillow at my face. "Now go back to sleep it's two in the morning." She said. I gave her the pillow then made my way back to bed.
Are we seriously in danger...again!? Like what could the boy be? Like a drug dealer, a thug, a robber, heartbreaker, player... The thoughts rushed through my head. I should forget about it... I felt my eyes getting more weary every time more thoughts came to my head. My eyes finally closed and peace filled my mind.
