Keziah's POV
Hey, I'm Keziah. Yeah I'm 'normal' I suppose is what you'd want to call it. I just moved to NYC with my friend, Savannah. I would glance down at my watch, and smiled at my thought and looked back up to see Savannah still sleeping. "Savannah! Wake up, wake up!" I exclaimed shaking her shoulders. "Ugh, I'm up! I'm up!" She yelled back.
Savannah got out of her bed and walked towards the kitchen. I walked out and sat on our living room couch. I stared at the television and rubbed my head. I flinched when a knock came from our door. "I'll answer it." I said cautiously. I opened the door to see a boy. I looked down at my watch, it's still fine. I saw Savannah at the corner of my eye.
"Hey, I'm Cameron ( If you prefer Dallas then go ahead ). I heard you just moved next door. My mom told me to invite you guys to dinner tonight. Since she's watching just say yes for my sake please?" I looked and Savannah and she nodded her head. "Yeah sure!" I smiled and closed the door.
"Savannah what happens if our watch changes in the middle of the dinner!?" I whispered to her. "Well, then we'd have to find a way to retrieve the time back!" She replied, putting a piece of her auburn hair behind her ear. "Okay so um I guess he'll come around 8:00 or 9:00 PM?" I asked shrugging my shoulders a bit.
"Okay well I know I have enough time shopping." I said to myself. "Want to come with me?" I questioned, grabbing my wallet from the kitchen counter and brushing away my strand of hair behind my ear. "It's worth a shot I guess." She said sighing. I opened the door with Savannah trailing behind. I locked the door afterward. "How about we walk?" She is offered. "But it's so faraway!" I whined.
"You call like a 3 minute walk, faraway. Wow woman you might need help." She exclaimed, later chuckling a bit. I don't think I told you, but we have watches on our wrists at all times. It tells when our time of death will occur, and actions do take part of the time. That is why I glance at my watch every minute. On the behalf, I still have a ton of shopping to do. "Finally here." Savannah announced.
"That was a long. walk." I said taking deep breaths. I looked down at my watch. "Savannah... My watch says 10 minutes." I said cautiously.
