"Good morning." I grin as Misha walks down the stairs sleepily.
"What are you making?"
"I am making waffles."
"I haven't had waffles since-"
"Last week. I make them every Friday." I pull him closer to me.
"I think I missed last weeks because I had that work thing."
"You did." I nod. "Well you get them now." I kiss his nose. "How'd you sleep?"
"Good. What about you baby?" He pulls away and grabs orange juice.
"You two are so cute together." His mom smiles sipping at her coffee. "Who knew a doctor and a writer would be such a good couple?"
"Which reminds me I have to go to work." I put the last waffle on a plate.
"But breakfast?" Misha pouts his lip out worried.
"I'll take it to go." I run upstairs and change into a striped button up and tuck it into my gray jeans. I do my hair which is honestly just coming through it with a little gel and then I skip back down stairs with mismatched socks on which gains a funny look from him.
"You wear dinosaur and pug socks?"
"I do." I nod grabbing my shoes.
"Ok so-" he looks around for his mom. "You're a hot single doctor and you don't know why? have you thought about maybe because when you start undressing you're seen in weird socks."
"They make me happy." I grin. "And when kids walk in feeling horrible I show them my socks and they cheer up because an old guy wearing funny socks is fun." I tie my shoes on and then grab my coat.
"I'm gonna walk him to the car." Misha says wrapping his house coat around his waist and then tying it.
"Bye Mrs. Collins." I wave. He shuts the door ask walks me to my car.
"I was thinking maybe we should wait until my mom leaves to start dating."
"Why?"
"I don't know... Incase you decide you don't really like me?"
"Are you fucking kidding me. You're perfect! I would marry you for real right now so then you cant decide to leave me."
"So.. About the date?"
"That's up to you. If you want to date me with your mom here then go ahead but if not then I'm fine with it."
"I still think we should wait."
"Okay." I nod. "I will see you tonight at 3."
"Okay and dinner?"
"I think you should make dinner." I smile widely.
"Oh no no I don't cook guys I just met."
"Guess you're changing that now." I lean forward with a whisper and push a soft kiss to his cheek. "Bye."
"Bye." He waves with a blush.

"Ok I'm off to lunch." I grab my keys.
"Really?" Helen looks up and out to the lobby. I peek out the window on the door and see Misha. "Your husband is here." I open the door and walk out.
"Here for your monthly check up?" I grin.
"Or here for a daily lunch." He holds up a sack.
"I'm really hoping you have two sandwiches in there." I point to the sack.
"Let's find out." Misha smiles. I open the door to the back rooms and then get a wink from Helen.
"Be safe." She coos.
"We're married we don't have to be safe." Misha says back. We pull open my office door and step in.
"Where's your mom?"
"She's getting lunch with a friend." Misha pulls out a sandwich and chips and fruit and two bottles of water and gronala bars?
"Holy crap did you pack your whole house in there?" I laugh.
"I'm a growing guy I need food."
"Uh huh." I nod. "Well actually you stop growing when you're 25."
"I'm 24!?" He screeches with a laugh.
"Well you have one year left."
"And as a doctor you should know I need to be healthy."
"At least you're eating... Semi healthy?" I pick the chips up and look at them.
"Hey you can't lecture me on our first date." Misha grins widely.
"This is our first date?" I chuckle.
"Mm hm." He nods.
"I don't even look nice." I blush.
"I've seen you foaming out the mouth with tooth brush while standing in dirty boxers and a t-shirt with a stain on it."
"Which I'm still weirded out about." I take a bite out of my sandwich.
"I think you looked cute though." He nudges me with his leg and then takes another bite of his sandwhich.
