Doorstep Delivery and Vamishing Glass

Dumbledore paced across Privet Drive. Waiting for Hagrid to arrive with Harry.
Professor McGonagall appeared to join Dumbledore and Hagrid. She came out of her cat form to unite with Dumbledore. Dumbledore had greeted McGonagall. McGonagall cautiously asked Dumbledore if he trusted that this was the right place to leave Harry. She wasn't sure if it was the safest place for Harry to be left. Dumbledore reassured her that the Dursley's at '4 Privet Drive' was Harry only family that was left.
Hagrid quickly arrived from far off in the sky with baby Harry. They said they're goodbyes and left baby Harry on the Dursley's front porch.
Harry was left alone, on the cold, wet cement of the Dursley's porch.

Harry woke up with a slight sensation on his forehead, right where his scar took place. It wasn't that bad of a pain, it just startled him.
He sat up in his makeshift bed careful not to hit his head on the wood which held up the staircase. If you weren't sure, Harry Potter has been forced by Petunia and Vernon (Harry's aunt and uncle) and especially Dudley (Harry's cousin) to live under the staircase.
He got of his little bed and opened the door to make breakfast for his family. The Dursley's strongly disliked Harry, but for only a few certain reasons.
Harry was forced to make more food for Vernon. As of today it was Dudley's birthday. Dudley was spoiled as usual, he received what appeared to be many gifts. Harry never received any gifts for his birthday.
Petunia covered Dudley's eyes and walked him over to the living room where all his presents covered every piece of furniture to every piece of carpet.
Dudley quickly noticed there wasn't as many as last years. He asked to no one specifically "how many presents are there?" "36... Counted them myself" Vernon replied proudly. Dudley was mad that there was one less than last years count. Petunia said that they would go out and buy him 2 more to solve the problem.
They had all walked out of the house, they were going to the zoo for Dudley. As Harry was about to get in the car Vernon slammed it shut. He quickly lectured Harry that if he caused any funny business he wouldn't be eating for a week. Harry then proceeded to get in the car.
They walked past and looked at many different animals. Harry seemed to be fascinated by the snake as Dudley and his parents got impatiently bored since it wasn't doing anything. They left to look at other animals.
The snake opened its eyes and looked at Harry as Harry apologized for his rude family knocking on the glass and all. Harry was confused on how he was communicating with the snake. Harry proceeded to ask him questions. Dudley realized the snake was up and moving and he ran over as yelled for his mom and dad. Dudley pushed Harry down on the floor so he could look at the snake, he pressed his hands against the glass and whatever happened then was indescribable. The glass disappeared and Dudley feel in the snakes excuse for a home and the snake slithered right out and thanked Harry. After that screams after screams about a snake was all that was heard. People jumping on things and out of the way and doing whatever they could to get away from the snake. Dudley's parents then ran over. Dudley got up, all wet from the snakes pond and tried to get out of the glass cage except the glass reappeared and Dudley could not get out. Petunia screamed as her son was parted from them. Harry chuckled and regretted it instantly because Vernon looked at him and Harry knew this was all going to be blamed on him.
They went home as they got Dudley back out and Harry was is so much trouble. Vernon stopped him as they walked in the door and yelled at him for doing that. Harry explained what happened, " it was just like magic" Harry exclaimed. Vernon pushed Harry into his room under the stairs and locked it. "There's no such thing as magic" Vernon said and with that he left.
