Diagon Alley

     Hagrid had led Harry to London. Harry was holding a list which indicated all the things he needed for Hogwarts. There was things such as robes, a wand, books, and many more.
     They walked through The Leaky Cauldron and Hagrid was offered a drink. He refused and said he had to help Harry get all his supplies. The bartender looked at Harry "Harry Potter" he whispered and with that all looks were turned to Harry people. Got up to shake his hand and greet him. But they had to be off. Hagrid took him into a back room and closed the door. There was a few missing bricks in the wall, but Hagrid tapped a few with his umbrella and they all started moving to form a doorway which led to Diagon Alley.
    "But Hagrid I haven't gotten any money, how  I supposed to get all this stuff." Harry exclaimed. They were walking straight along Diagonal Alley. Hagrid had told Harry they had to go to Gringotts bank.
     They walked into the large building at the end of the alley. There was huge chandeliers hanging and goblins were all around the room that seemed to be working. They walked all the way to the end and up to what seemed to be the head/leader goblin.
     Hagrid cleared his throat so that the goblin would hear him. The goblin looked up and Hagrid claimed they needed to go to Harry's vault. "Does mr. Harry have his key" the goblin asked. Hagrid started to scavenge through his coat and found the key.       Another goblin then took Harry and Hagrid on a cart type ride that led all the way up to Harry's vault. They got out and walked up to the vault door and Hagrid handed the goblin the vaults key and with the the door opened at there was a large pile of coins. "Didn't think your parents were gonna leave ya with nothing did ya" Hagrid said to Harry. They got back in the cart and they had to make another stop at a different vault. The go in ran his finger down the vault door and it unlocked. There was only a tiny wrapped package in there. Hagrid grabbed and they locked the door. Hagrid told Harry he probably shouldn't speak of this.
     After they got some of Harry's coins they went shopping for all the supplies. They went into numerous stores to get what was needed. "The only thing left is a wand" Harry said. Hagrid told him Olivanders was the best place to go. 
     As they were walking a lot of kids seemed to be a attracted to window which had shown a broom. Harry looked in awe because it seemed to be pretty special.
     Hagrid told Harry to get himself a wand and he had to go get something. Harry walked into the store and called to see if anyone was there. A ladder attached to the wall came gliding in sight. It was Olivander and he told Harry he wondered when he would see him.
     He had given Harry a wand to try out and told him to give it a flick. Harry held the wand and slightly flicked it and a bunch of wands came shooting out of the shelves and he scarcely set the wand down. It couldn't be that one. Olivander gave him another wand to try out and Harry gave this one a flick as well. Just as he flicked it a glass vase broke. It's not that one either. Olivander went to a certain wand " I wonder.." He whispered as he brought it out to Harry. Harry held the wand and the lights dimmed and everything seemed just right.
     "Curious.." Olivander kept repeating. Harry asked what was curious. Olivander began to explain, "This wand is made of a special Phoenix's feather, it only shed two. It's strange on how it's brother gave you that....scar" Olivander said as looked up at the scar on Harry's forehead. Harry stared in confusion. All he could think was how he had gotten this scar, he was told by Vernon and Petunia that it was in the tragic car crash, not from a human.
     There was knock on the glass and Hagrid was standing there with a cage in his hand, "Happy Birthday Harry!" he said as he held up a beautiful white owl.
     Harry bought his wand and went out the door as he said his goodbyes. Harry had thanked Hagrid for his amazing gift. They had gotten everything on the list and they decided to head back to The Leaky Cauldron to get something to eat. Harry had never felt so happy to get new things and have people care for him. But Harry was also very curious and he wanted to know how he really got the scar and who his wands brother is and why on earth he is so famous around here.
