Moving

~Time skip to A couple months later~

(Y/N's point of view)

Matt and I have been friends for a couple months now. I know I have feeling for him. He's just so cute. His eyes sparkle whenever he's happy. I don't know if he feels the same though.

"Hey Y/N can I talk to you after school?" Matt asked as we were eating lunch.

"Yeah sure," I answered. I was so nervous. Is he going to tell me that he likes me? Maybe. But he doesnt. Or does he.

The school day dragged on until the final bell rang. I was worried at this point. I finally saw him standing next to the school gate.

"Oh hey I'll tell you about the thing later for now let's just walk home," he said.

"Ok yeah sure," I said.

We talked and talked until we reached my house.

"So Matt what are you going to tell me?" I asked.

"I was going to tell you that.....I'm moving," he responded with tears in his eyes.

"What? Wait where are you moving to?" I asked with a shaky voice. I was about to cry.

"I'm moving to Texas. I don't want to move but we have no choice I'm sorry," he said as he pulled me in for a tight hug.

I couldn't hold in my tears anymore. I'm going to lose my best friend. We stood there hugging each other until I pulled away.

"When is your last day here?"

"Today actually, I told the others before I told you. I should have told you sooner but I didn't want you to be sad. Just remember that we are best friends until the end."

He pulled a black box out of his pocket. He handed it to me as he kissed me on the forehead.

"I'll miss you Matt," I said one last time.

"I'll miss you too Y/N," he said as he pulled me in for one last hug.

I didn't want to that moment to end. Until finally I pulled away and let him walk to his house. I walked over to my front door and opened it. I went straight to my room and sat on my bed. I opened the box that he gave. Inside there was a ring with an infinity symbol on it. There was also a necklace that had a star on it. In the box there was a note.

I know by the time you read this I'll be on my way to Texas. So I wanted to tell you this. The first day that I saw you I knew that you were such a nice friend. But I ended up thinking we could be more than friends. Please don't cry too much because I'm leaving. And I knew you loved space so I decided to buy you this. I'm actually wearing a similar bracelet with a moon on it. Haha get it moon and stars. Y/N I'm going to miss you so much. Just remember we are best friends until the end.

Put on the necklace and ring. The ring was a bit big on my finger but I didn't care. And sat on my bed. Best friends until the end. I love him so much.

After I told Y/N that I was moving and I dropped her off at her house. I walked silently to my house. I'm going to miss her so much. I loved her. Her smile. Her eyes. I hoped she liked the present I gave her. I had a bracelet that was black and had a moon on it. Before I knew it I was in a car heading towards Texas. I wanted to stay here. With all my friends. Best friends until the end.
