Your point of view

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. At first I didn't know where I was. But then every memory flooded through my head. I stumbled to the kitchen.

"Good Morning Sleeping Beauty," Matt chirped.

"Good Morning Matt," I said.

I sat down at the table and Matt handed me a plate with 3 pancakes. He knew I loved pancakes.

"So how was your first night here?" He asked.

"It was awesome," I replied.

"I wanted to do something with Jack, Amy, and Mark. Do you want to join us?"

"Yeah of course. So what are we doing?"

"I was thinking about going to the beach."

"I love the beach!"

"Ok after breakfast, I'll call Jack, Amy, and Mark."

"Can I tell you something? Will you promise not to tell anyone?" I asked him. I wanted to tell him about Amy's crush on Mark.

"Yeah, I promise."

"Ok, did you know that Amy likes Mark. She's in love with him."

His jaw dropped.

"Mark loves Amy too!" He yelled out.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'm gonna call and tell him the news."

Amy would kill me if she knew I told Matt her secret.

"Matt no wait," I yelled. He had his phone in his hand. "You can't tell Mark."

"Why?" He asked.

"Amy would kill me if she knew that I told you her secret, and we should let them find out themselves. "

"Oh, ok I get it. Well let's get ready for the beach. I'll call the others."

I went back to the kitchen and finished eating. Once, I was done I washed all the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Matt was in his room, putting some stuff in a bag. I quickly went into my room and looked for a bikini to put on. I really don't like showing my body off. So I got the least skin revealing bikini I had. It was blue with tiny purple hearts. I put on some shorts and a random shirt. I put a towel, a pair of underwear, and sunblock in one of my bags. I went to the couch and set my stuff down.

"Matt, are you almost done getting ready?" I asked.

"Yeah, by the way Ryan and Daniel are coming with us."

"Ok cool."

I was just sitting on the couch thinking about Matt. I like Matt but he deserves so much better than me. Maybe I'll give it some time and see how things turn out. All of a sudden I felt someone jump on the couch. It was Jack.

"How did you get in the house?" I asked him.

"I think you guys left the door open. Just kidding. I have a key to the apartment." He answered," So what's going on in that mind of your's? I noticed you seemed to be thinking."

"Umm... nothing just thinking about.... the weather."

"You are a horrible liar."

"If I tell you would you keep it a secret?"

"Come on Y/N I'm like your best friend. Actually I'm Mark's best friend. But I'm your like your 4th best friend. You can tell me anything."

I moved closer to him so Matt wouldn't hear us. I got really close to his ear and whispered," I think I have feelings for Matt."
