Jacob and his family are getting ready to leave their old house.
"Mom", Jacob said,"why can't we just stay here I want to stay with my friends and, and maye". Jacobs' mom wasnt paying him any attention because she was too busy packing up the glasses from the cabinet."MOM!" yelled Jacob. Jacobs' mother didn't hear him yet, she was so focused on what glasses went into what and what color went with what box."MARTHA!" Jacob yelled. Jacobs mother froze, she stood with two glasses in her hand."What did I tell you about calling me by my name",Martha said calmly,"and why are you yelling". Jacob paused before speaking because he noticed his mistake and said,"sorry mom I just....you wouldn't turn around when I was calling you an- I didn't turn around because I'm busy",Martha interrupted,"and Id appreciate it if my son wouldn't disturb me while I'm working". "Sorry", said Jacob as he started to walk off. Martha had quickly got back to sorting the glasses."I swear I hate those glasses", Jacob said under his breath while walking through the hall. Jacobs house was big and nice. The walls were blue and had little pictures of lady bugs on them. Though Jacob had grown out of that wallpaper years ago and nearly dreaded seeing it, he was already hating that he hadn't cherished it while he still had a chance. Jacob walked through the hall which has three rooms connected to it. His room was the first room on the left. It was a blue room like the rest of the house nothing special really. The next door was connected to his moms room, and she always had her door locked so she could work In piece. The room furthest down the hall was dads room, he was never at home. Business work plagued the entire house, Jacobs dad was always out on business trips and his mom was always working on things that dad was too busy to do. I wonder sometimes how jacob could live like this. Jacob walked back to his room and looked around seeing how empty it is. He looked in his closet and on the door was a picture he had looked over. "How did I miss this", Jacob chuckled. The picture was of him and his mom. She was an average height for her age, 33 that is. She has long brown hair which lays over her shoulder and she's very skinny. In the picture she was smiling which is something she doesn't do often, and when she does its because she finished some important paper. Jacob was still looking at the picture when he heard a car start. "Is she leaving me". Jacob thought as he ran through the hall as fast as he could. Jacob got to the front door and opened it."MOM!", Jacob yelled,"ARE YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING!". Martha rolled down the window and yelled,"NO ALL THE GLASSES ARE PACKED!". Jacob shrugged his shoulders. "IM KIDDING BABY GET IN!", Martha said. "Are you mom, are you". Jacob said as he walked to the car. Jacob opened the door and sat down, his mom was looking at him through the mirror. "What". Jacob said. "Oh just waiting for The tears is all". Said Martha chuckling. Jacob looked away and rolled his eyes and placed his head on his fist. "Like I'm gonna cry". Jacob said as the car started moving. "Bye house", Jacob said,"I'll miss you".
