His lips touched Everest's slowly and softly. His stomach was stirring in his belly. It was doing somersaults of some sort. His heart was louder than it was when he ran 15km for the school team. Yet he didn't care for some reason. He kept his lips against Everest's with a small smile cracking his lips and causing a couple wrinkles to crease his cheeks.
Suddenly he felt a hand on his chest, lightly pushing him away.
"Everest?" he let out a little moan, as he unlocked their lips.
"Mr. Thor!" a nurse came running in to the room, "Aviva, she might not make it!"
"What!" Thor's eyes bulged out of their sockets.
The world came crashing down in a couple seconds.
Run. Run. Run.
"Aviva!" Thor screamed across the hospital, following the nurse, whom was running to a room crowded with doctors and nurses.
Everest struggled to get up, but instead Journey, whom came running in to the room after she heard Thor's scream, pinned him against the bed.
Room 666, was this a joke. Thor stared at the room number. His vision getting blurry.
"I want to die," he whispered under his breath while staring at Aviva's life monitor.
"We can't have another suicide attempt," a nurse stared him in the eyes.
But for him she was just a nude-colored blur wearing white.
"It crumbles so fast."
"That's true. The world will never not crumble. If it didn't then there'd be no need for people like you," she paused and hugged Thor, "people like you are the ones who help until they've got no power left in them. Just look at yourself. You're not screaming bad begging Aviva. You're exhausted, because you've fought for far too long."
"I-"
"It may not make sense now, hun," she wrapped her arms around his shaking shoulders, "but Aviva may not make it. You'll understand it all later."
