Emblem3 finished their song. The three girls clapped for them in the wings. The judges had nothing but great things to say about them. They seemed so surprised but happy. They started to tear up, and then the judges accepted them. They were so excited and thanked the judges, before being dismissed and walking off stage.
Unspoken sat there for a moment while the three boys started to walk by them before Aria plucked up the courage and said loud enough for them to hear, “That was amazing! Good luck in the next round!”
Emblem3 turned to the girls and the oldest spoke for them. “Thanks! The response from you and everybody else is more than we were even hoping for! You guys next?” Seeing the three girls nod, he continued, “Well then I hope you guys rock it! We’ll be watching and hoping for you guys, too!”
The Emblem3 boys left the Unspoken girls even more nervous than before… They were watching them? The trio was knocked out of their thoughts by a guy telling them to go onstage.
Oh God. It’s time, ran through all three of their heads. They walked out on stage, trying to keep their cool. The judges greeted them with smiles.
“Hello there!” Demi greeted them.
“Hi!” Aria spoke for them.
“What’s your group’s name?” LA asked.
“We are Unspoken.” Kristina answered.
“Alright... And what are you going to sing for us?” Simon questioned.
“Brave by Sara Bareilles.” Kristina told them.
“Whenever you’re ready.” Britney gave them an encouraging smile.
The girls nodded and walked to the positions in the middle of the stage. The beat started and Aria stepped forward, voice ringing clearly.
“You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody’s lack of love
Or you can start speaking up.”
Jessie then stepped forward harmonizing with Aria.
“Nothing’s gonna hurt you the way that words do

All three girls’ voices came together in the chorus.

Aria’s voice came over the other two girls’ but their voices still harmonized with hers.

And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave.”
The three girls came back together equally.
“I just wanna see you

I just wanna see you”
Then Aria’s came out stronger,
“I wanna see you be brave.”
