They were all three in their hotel when Aria’s cell phone rang. She quickly put it on speaker. A producer told them that they would be getting together with the other groups and sent to a judge’s house. No one knew which judge would be their mentor. They packed their things and met at the airport where they were taken to a very nice jet.
“Oh...My...Gosh…” Jessie said as they boarded. “I’ve only been on a plane once...and it was all small and stuff,” she said excitedly.
“Woah… DUDE!” Aria said.
The three girls sat in a row of three. They were waiting for the other groups to get there. Lyric145 was the first of the groups to arrive after them. The two groups greeted each other politely before Lyric145 walked away to a different row of seats.
The next group was the LYLAS who all smiled at Unspoken, but found seats a little ways away.
Then, nearly late, the Emblem3 boys came rushing onto the plane, breathing hard, having clearly run part of the way so as not to be late. They calmed their breathing down and walked towards the Unspoken girls, sitting in the row directly in front of them. They all popped their heads over their seats so they could see the girls. Keaton, Wesley and Drew gave the girls a shy smile, smirk, and a wink respectively.
“Hi there,” Wes smirked again.
“Uh, hi!” the girls responded in synch.
“Have some trouble getting here?” Kristina asked and smiled.
“Just a little,” Drew answered.
The flight attendants told everyone to strap in their seat belts. Giving Kristina, Aria, and Jesse one last smile and look, the boys turned around to do as she said. The Unspoken girls spent the next hour or so talking about what was coming up at the judges’ houses and listening to music.
As soon as the seat belt required sign went off and they were allowed to stand up and stretch, Emblem3 peeked their heads up again, still smiling.
“Hey you guys! Do you want to switch around seats so we can get to know each other?” Drew questioned excitedly.
Kris, Jesse and Aria nodded. That sounded fun!
The two groups seemed to play musical airplane seats until finally settling down. Kris ended up deciding she would rather try to get to know some of their other competition and went over to talk to the LYLAS, seeing as Jess and Ari were already getting to know E3. The row previously Unspoken’s now consisted of Keaton next to the window, Jessie in the middle, and Wes on the aisle. The row right next to theirs, seeing as it had been empty (surprisingly), had Aria on the aisle and Drew in the middle seat, with no one in the window seat.
“So… How long have you guys been together?” Aria asked Drew.
“We’ve been playing together since sixth grade.” Drew answered and then smiled a little.
“Wow… That’s a long time!” She said but she wasn’t too surprised, they performed so well together.
“What about you guys?” He asked.
“Well, Jessie and I have been singing together since like… middle school. I don’t remember exactly when we started singing together… But Krissie joined our friendship just over a year ago! With that, we all sang together. And after watching the first season of X Factor we knew that we had to do this- well actually it was Kris who had to force us to do this in the beginning because Jess and I weren’t exactly… set to get out from underneath our little tree from where we always used to sing…” Aria replied.
“Well, Kris had the right idea. If she hadn’t got you guys to audition, then you would be missing this amazing opportunity and we wouldn’t be sitting here talking to each other!” Drew smiled at Aria.
