Ch.15

Camilas pov:
Lauren told her parents, and they accepted her and accepted our relationship. They want me to go over for dinner but as Lauren's girlfriend. I've been over millions of times but this is different, I was going over as a friend not a lover. I am really nervous, what if they don't like me now? Of course they'll like me, they treat me like family....but I'm still nervous!
it's 5:00 which gives me an hour to get ready and go to Laurens house. I take a shower, blowdry my hair, put on light makeup, and I wear a summer dress, since they usually bqq on Saturdays. I think I look cute, hopefully they do too. I get into my car and drive out to Laurens, I'm actually really nervous what if they get mad if I kiss her or hold her hand! So many things are going through my mind that I almost forget I'm in front of her house.
Lauren must've heard my car because she was already at the door waiting for me as I get out of my car. As usual now, I gave her a kiss and a hug and we walk in together. I spot her mother in the kitchen.
" Hola Ms.Jauregui, wow that smells amazing what is it ?"
"Hi Camila , you know it's my famous scalloped potatoes, they'll be done in 5 minutes so you guys can go hang out for a bit."
" I'll go say hi to your dad first" I say to Lauren
I walk out to patio in the back and I see Laurens dad grilling chicken and whistling a nice tone.
" Hello Mr.Jauregui, how are ya?"
"Ayee Camila mija what'd I tell you about calling me Mr.Jauregui? Call me papa J, okay the chicken is gonna be in 10 mins so go have fun kiddos!"
I love Laurens family they all treat me like a daughter, I don't kneel where Laurens siblings are but I'll see them soon I guess.
We go up to Laurens room and just watch tv as a distraction while we make out for a bit. I love her so much and she's a great kisser but I have to control my self today since her whole family is home and could walk in at any moment. About 20 minutes later dinner is done and we are called down stairs. We eat out side and the whole diner was fantastic, it was normal, until they asked how we got together. I told them I always had feelings for Lauren but was willing to keep them a secret for the sake of our friendship but eventually I let it out and she felt the same way. Now we are happily together. They seemed to be really supportive and accept us a couple. I love this, I love her.
