Celestial chapter 10: War

Lucy's P. O. V
Someone was shaking me. And yelling at me to wake up. Opening my eyes I saw Mika whose cold eyes never left my own. "Get up, we're here. Don't you want to go see your lover." She asked.
And then I was up in a second.

Erza was already up, as was the rest of the squad. Erza motioned to me to look down and when I did I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a real life war. And my Natsu was fighting in it.

I could tell just by looking down who was Natsu. Fire surrounded him as did many enemies. But a scared voice caught my attention, someone was screaming. And I knew who it was. I mean it had to be the little girl who was fighting alongside Natsu.

"We've got to help them" I cried as I turned towards everyone. Erza, Gajeel, Gray and Juvia seemed to agree with me but Mika and Matthieu seemed less then thrilled. Cowards.

Then I did something incredibly stupid that would've killed a normal human being. I jumped off the cloud.

I think I'm a cat. I mean after I jumped off the cloud I landed on my feet. Probably lost one of my nine lives in the process. A small, painful shock traveled through my body but the look on Natsu's face and the little girl's was well worth it.

"Lucy" Natsu yelled over the battle cries of the many enemies around them. "This is your lover Natsu. Wow. The fabled Lucy Heartfilia. You never told me she was so beautiful!" The little girl said as she gushed over me.

As soon as I heard the little girl's words I blushed a deep scarlet red. "So who are we fighting" I yelled.  "Some of Zeref's troops" Natsu yelled back. I whipped out my celestial gate keys before grabbing a specific key that had recently  became a favourite of mine.

"Open gate of the hound of hell, Cerberus" I screamed as my favourite three headed dog popped into our plane of existence in a puff of multicoloured smoke. My demonic dog with six glowing red eyes was as cute, fluffy and had as soft of fur as ever. He was my favourite big dog while my favourite small dog will forever be Plue.

Natsu lit his fists on fire. I cut myself before using one of my new abilities. Controlling blood. And by using my new ability I turned my blood into a sword. The rest of the blood returned to the wound before healing itself back up. Now no one could tell I had ever cut myself.

And the young girl began singing a song. Warriors materialized out of nowhere and she turned towards me while still singing her eyes filled with pride.

"This is war"

"You ready for a fight cause I'm all fired up"

"Here we are, don't turn away now.
We are the warriors that built this town."
