Chapter 5 : The accident

I stood there stunned. I'm not exactly sure what Aidens feeling as we stand here with our hands up with the gun pointed. My dad started laughing.

"I see you got your night and shining armour here. But he cant save you and he won't save you which is why your coming home." he said evily

"Can you put the gun down?" Aiden asked. As he slowly walks towards my dad. He looks at me and I go for the stairs.

Then all of a sudden Aiden kicks the gun out of my dads hand and slide it to me. I pick it up and run upstairs into my room. Then I start packing my stuff. I hear a lot of yelling down stairs. But I ignore it continuing to pack all of my clothes.

Then I hear a knock on the door. Aiden walk in. "I handled him. I locked him in the basement until we leave I'll take him out."

I nodd. He starts helping me get my stuff together. There's banging down stairs. I'm pretty sure its just my dad. So we ignore and proceed packing my stuff.

I wonder where my mom is. She hasn't came home since that day she was headed to work. She never came back. I don't blame her either.

"Come on lets start putting some stuff in my car. I don't want you in here by yourself. So come with me." he said. He isn't so bad after all I thought to myself.

We finished putting my belongings in his car. Now we are on the way back to his house.

"Is your mom fine with me staying here until I get an apartment?" I say looking at him. "Yeah, She likes you of course she doesn't mind." I just nodded.

We get out the car. Then getting the stuff to put it in the guest room which is now a room to call my own. We finish with that. Then his mom comes in and say.

"I know you guys are hungry from that work. Come and get some pasta I made for lunch." She doesn't know what happened when we were there.

"Tasha Come here for a sec before you go down to eat." I look at Aiden with a questioning look on my face. He just shrugged. Then continued walking to Linda.

"You can stay here as long as you need. I'm not sure what's going on at your house, its not my business to know unless you want to tell me. You are welcome here always. I'll treat you like my own. I just wanted you to know that." she said smiling at me.

"Thank you." I say smiling back walking down stairs. Into the kitchen. I'm surprised I remember. This house is just so big.

I guess Aiden made me a plate because he motioned for me to air beside him. I did.

"That's yours, want anything to drink?" he says getting up going to the refrigerator. I nodd. "Mountain Dew."

He tosses it to me but I didn't see fast enough and I dropped it on the floor. It busted open and made a mess.

I looked at him with my mouth wide open and said "Looks like you have a mess to clean up!" I take one more bite of food.

Then run out the kitchen running up the stairs. Going into my now room. Closing and locking the door. I laugh. Then decide on taking a shower.

Tomorrow I'm definitely going to school. I have been to school in two days. I don't want my grades dropping and I have to make up missing work.

Tomorrow is Friday. That's the day I spend time by myself. Watching movies on Netflix eating junk food. I don't know how I don't gain weight.

Enough of all this thinking. I'm gonna take me a nice bath. I'm glad I have a bunch of these bath bombs. They are the best!

I get in the bath I sit there for a while then start to get tired. So I wash up and wash this make up off of my face. Then get out.

I change into my pajamas. And get in the bed looking out the window. Eventually falling asleep. I know its around like 4 but I am tired. I fall into my beautiful slumber.

I wake up to someone staring at me. Aiden. "Didn't your mom teach you its not polite to stare." I joked. "Why are you in here anyway? Not to be rude or anything."

He's still staring at me. Not blinking. Not nothing. Then I see blood coming out of his head. I jumped up walking to him trying to find my phone to call 911.

But I seen a sticky note on the wall next to his head. I read it, it said.

Gotcha. This is payback for taking my spot.

I throw it at him he starts laughing. I stomp out the room and just go to the 3rd floor. I never been up here. I don't know where I'm going.

"Tash, I was just playing it was a joke. Im sorry." he says still laughing

"That wasn't funny. At all." I say continue walking down the hall to this door. I open it , it was a theatre.

I'm falling in love with this house already. "What time is it?" I ask Aiden over my shoulder.

"It's 10:15" he said blankly. I just state at him by accident I couldnt help it he had a shirt off. His muscles were visible. Oh boy look at them abs.

"Didn't your mom teach you not to stare, it isn't polite." he said using my words against me.

I just roll my eyes walking past going back to the second floor going into my room. I heard him chuckle.

"Goodnight Adie, go to sleep we are going to school tomorrow." I say yawning I'm still a bit tired.

"Goodnight Tash" he says Closing my door.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

My phone alarm going off. It's 6:30. I get up turning off the alarm. Then get changed into clothes. And apply my make up. You know, the usual.

I'm wearing dark colored skinny jeans. And a peach colored crop top. I need a little makeup on my stomach because of some fresh bruises.

Sad to say. I know. It's 7:10 by the time I'm finished getting ready. I grab my bag and my purse making sure I put my phone into it. Heading downstairs.
I go into the kitchen and Linda made breakfast.

"Goodmorning." I say to Aiden and Linda both. "I made breakfast for you two." she says smiling. Boy does she smile a lot.

"Thank you." I say taking a bite of toast. We finish eating. I was walking to my car and Aiden spoke up "Ride with me to school." I just looked at him. Um oh no. So all that attention I don't want can be on me. I don't think so.

"No I'm fine driving. Thanks anyway." I say putting my bags in the car then standing there looking at Aiden.

Then he just starts walking towards me fast. I turn and run. He was chasing me he was fast. I was running I ran to the street.

"TASHA!! CAR!" he screamed. But was too late.
