Ch12: Goodbye Bradley..

Caitlin's P.O.V

i stayed at the hospital for a few days and now they are letting me go back home. I re booked my flight i'm still leaving i need time to think things through.. and with this accident happening i can't think straight with everyone here looking out for me..

I sit up and stand up slowly i can see the bruises and cuts all over my legs and arms, i walk over to the mirror and look at myself with the bloody bandage wrapped around my head and i think.. i saw my mother like this when she was lying on the hospital bed and i start to cry as i fall on my knees loosing my balance. 

As i wipe my tears away i feel a grip on my shoulder and quickly turn around to see a nurse, i stand up and see Brad behind the nurse. "Is everything ok?" i ask curiously. Bradley gives me a smile.

"Yes, everything is fine i just came to help you change into some clothes your boyfriend brought in for you to wear whist leaving" she said giving me her hand and a reassuring smile and a nod to take her hand, so i did and she holded me and took me to the bed where i sat slowly whilst she placed the clothes on the bed.

"Sir, can i please ask you to step out of the room as i need to help Caitlin put on her clothes" the nurse said to Bradley. "Sure, Caitlin i will be waiting outside" he said smiling. I smiled back giving him a signal that it was ok.

Ten Minutes later...

 I step out of the room and see Bradley with his head in his hands, i walk up to him and place my hand on his shoulder. I suddenly loose my grip and press down really hard on his shoulder, which makes him look up. 

"Ready?" he asks. "Yes i am, can you take me home.." i said. "oh and is my luggage ok?"                      "yes everything is fine and its at your house" he said smiling.

45 minutes later...

I unlock my door and step in, stepping aside to let Bradley in to the house as i lock he door again. i look around and see everything how i left it and i look into the sitting room to see nan standing up with a smile. She runs to where i am standing and hugs me tight, i hug back really tightly. we did speak in the hospital, she couldn't come to see me because she was really busy but that is ok. "I missed you, nan" i say. I told nan to come with me to NYC so i have company and to bring jasmine along too so it would be extra fun, i know i can trust her to take everything off my mind. 

We all had a little talk but i was feeling tired as it was a long day so i went to bed and nan went home to get ready for tomorrow, we are going tomorrow... so bradley stayed the night but ovs in the guest room, but he does not know that im leaving.

Next morning

I was ready at about 7am and i was waiting for my uber to take me to the Airport where gran will be waiting for me. Bradley came walking down the stairs all ready to leave. "Where are you off to Babe?" he said wrapping his hands around my waist and pulling me close. I still have not forgiven him, but i just played along. " i'm going to go shopping with my nan... i'll be back" i said hesitantly. I kissed his cheek and we both stepped outside the house, i gave him a hug and he walked off.  I checked if he went inside his house and then i got my luggage out and the uber arrived just in time.

I stepped in and told the driver where i need to go, i turned around and saw the guy putting the luggage in the boot and then i looked up at Bradley's house to see him staring out of the window with a tear rolling down his face.  I think he knows im heading off for NYC because i have been planning it for a month now. He does not know im going NYC, he just knows that im leaving.. 

I don't see his face on the window but i do see him coming out of his front door, before Brad got near the car the driver already stepped into the car and started the engine. i looked at him as he was approching the car, i opened the window. "where are you going? i thought your just going shopping with your nan, why do you have a luggage with you? are you leaving Caitlin???" he said worried. All i could respond with was "Goodbye Bradley..." and tears rolled down my eyes as i rolled up the window. He was banging on the window and i can hear him say 'please don't go, i love you, don't leave me, Cait please listen.. CAITLIN!!!, please i don't want to loose you.. if you go i will find you.. i will look for you everywhere..." the car drove off by the time Bradley stopped speaking and i saw him running after the car.. That's it i will never see him for almost a year.
