Part 2 - Evening plans.

{Hina's perspective}

While I walked home from school I was thinking about what happened today in class. The new boy, Yoshida-kun, asked me out. I've never met him before, but he seemed pretty popular by the girls.

Akiyama ran out of my house over to me.
-Ah! Koizumi-chan, we need you to this evening party!, she said frustrated.
Akiyama is my mothers best friend, she lives together with us. She's really kind, and tonight she and mum is going to have a party with their job. I promised her and mum that I would be a help in the kitchen with the food. I forgot it was tonight.
She took my hands and smiled at me.
-Of course I'll help you, it's a big evening for you two, I answered and smiled back.
-It really is! Did you hear we found a new boy?
-Yeah, your sisters son couldn't help us tonight, right?
Akiyama's sisters son was in my age, she thought it would be nice if someone in my age was there too and not only me and some old men cooking together. But apparently he got sick and couldn't come tonight, so Akiyama found another one.
-You'll meet him later, lets go in and get ready!, she said as we walked in to the house.

All I've heard this 4 long weeks was mum and Akiyama talking about the party. It was fun to hear how much fun they had and I really want to help them so this evening gets amazing, I hope I don't screw things up.
I walked out of my room and saw my mother and Akiyama sitting on the couch, we all smiled at each other.
-I'm just going to take a bath, I said.
They both nodded at me and continued talking.

All I could think of was this evening and Yoshida-kun. He asked me out and didn't even know me, and last time I had a boyfriend was when I was 13 and it wasn't even serious. Now I'm 17, it was 4 years ago. Something Akiyama once told me was to never start dating somebody before getting to know them.
Akiyama actually do say smart stuff sometimes.
