Birthdays

I woke up at 5:30 like normal and quietly got dressed. I opened the door to the hang out and stepped outside. It was a bit chilly I didn't mind.

I walked over to Xanders house and checked my phone. He said his room was the middle window. I jumped down and knocked on the window. He opened it and crawled out.

"Are you ready?" I asked. "Yep, how far are we going again?" I rolled my eyes. "5 miles." We cut through my back yard and went to the sidewalk. I put my ear buds in and looked at Xander make sure he was ready. He nodded towards me and we started to jog.

We got back at 6:45. Xander walked with me back to the hang out. "I missed that." he said. "Me too." I answered. We walked in a comfortable silence the rest of the way.

When we were inside I finally noticed how much he smelt. "Xander you need to go take a shower." He looked at me with his eyebrows raised, shakes his head and walks to the bathroom.

My mom then walked in and gave me a letter. "Open it in private." she whispered knowing Xander was in the bathroom.

When he walked out of the bathroom the first thing I noticed was how hot he looked with his hair wet. I shook my head. He was my best friend. I couldn't think like that.

I ran into the bathroom so I could open my letter.

Dear Miss Fallon,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Enclosed is a list of school supplies the you can get by going to daigon alley. If you need help finding it please send a letter back to us so we may help you.
If you accept, we await an owl no later than July 31. Term starts on September 1.

Wow, I thought. I was going to Hogwarts!!!!!

Xander told me that he was going home. I just nodded in a daze. I WAS GOING TO HOGWARTS!!!!! After he left I checked my phone. 7:30. My mom should be up by now. I walked to the house because my legs were super sore.

"Mom! I'm going to Hogwarts!" I yell in her face. "That's great sweetheart, we'll go get you supplies tomorrow." she responds. "Should I send a letter back to them so they can help us find it?" I ask. My mom looks at my father. The have one of those adult talks with there eyes. "No, your dad and I know where it is." "You do? So that means your a witch and wizard." I say in awe. "We'll tell you about that later, right now is your BIRTHDAY!!"

Xanders POV

After I crawled back through my window I realized I forgot Gatorade! I'll just get some later. Today is Mayas birthday! I can't believe she's 14. I really wish she got her Hogwarts letter when she was 11.

I walked upstairs to see my mom talking on the phone. It was about Maya.

She hung up and I walked the rest of the way up the stairs. "Xander, do you want to go to Mayas birthday party today?" Inside I was super excited that I got to go, but to my mom I said, "Sure."

A/N So I know that this was a super short POV for Xander but I didn't know what else to write for him. I only did this because their will be POVs for him later and it would be weird if I added one in then and not anywhere else. So back to the story.

Mayas POV

I ate breakfast and then went downstairs to change into something nicer for my birthday party thing. My friends were coming at 11:00 so I had 3 hours. I decided to text Xander even though he lived next door.

Me: Whatch ya doing?

Xander: Thinking about how the summers almost over.

Me: Why are you thinking about that?

Xander: Cuz then I won't see you until the summer again.

Me: Oh yeah. You go to a private boarding school.

Xander: Yep.

Me: That remindes me, I won't see you until the middle of next summer because my parents are sending me to a school in England and they end in the end of June or something.

Xander: Ok, when do you leave?

Me: September 1.

Xander: Wow that's coming up fast!

Me: I know. I'm gonna miss you!💜

Xander: I'll miss you too.💜

Me:💜😍😊😢😢💜

Xander: 💜😢😍💜😍😢😢

Me: 😂😂😂😘

Xander: I have to go my mom needs me for something.

Me: Ok. See you at 11:00

Xander: See you then.

Xander was the first to get to my house. I let him in and we waited for the other guests by the door.

First came Charlie then Rose, Matt, Brooke, Karson, Kaitlin, Jordan, and last but not least Kasey.

Everyone had brought their swimsuit so we all went in the back and had a water balloon fight. We did that for like half an hour.

"Who wants cake?" my mom called out to us with a chocolate cake in her hands. The boys (Xander and Matt) raced over to her with greedy looks on their faces.

She cut up pieces for everyone and passed them around. Of course the boys had to make a contest to see who could eat their cake the fastest without utensils. Us girls watched in disgust and they ate the cake with just their mouth. Xander won.

After the we dumped a bucket of water on them to wash off the cake. It made Xanders shirt stick to him so he took it off. God I could stare at his abs all day.

We jumped on the tramp and did other super fun kid stuff until it was time to go. Everyone left and Xander walked home with his shirt back on :(.

I helped my mom clean up. She asked, "Did you have a good time?" "Yeah it was great." I responded. It was 9:00 when everything was done and I wanted to get to bed early so I could wake up early tomorrow for Diagon Alley!

I showered and put pjs on. I snuggled into my warm blankets falling asleep right away.

Hope you liked it. I really think that this is going to be a good story but I'm not sure. I'm trying to update fast but I'm so busy it's so annoying. Time to update a different book!
