Shopping

I skipped my run to sleep in before shopping. Xander texted to see why I skipped.

Xander: Why did you skip out on your run this morning?

Me: I wanted to sleep in before shopping.

Xander: Why can't you go shopping another day?

Me: Because I have to go today!

Xander: Ok, bye.

Me: Bye

I can't believe that i had to move away from him for a year and I couldn't tell him why. Ugh this was gonna ruin me. I needed him.

My mom called me up from my room. "Are you ready to go?" she asked. I nodded. She took my arm and told me to hold on tight. I felt like I was in a tube and I couldn't breathe. We landed outside some old pub.

"This is the Leakey Cauldron." she told me. "Whats that got to do with Diagon Alley?" I questioned. She just smiled and led me to the door.

We walked through the pub and out into the back. My mom took out her wand and tapped the brick in three different spots. It opened up into a huge archway.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley." She said to me. I looked around in awe. There was a ton of shops. "Where do we go first?" I asked. "We'll go to gringotts first." She responded. I gave her a questioning look. "It's a wizard bank." "Ohhh!" I said.

We walked to the end of the street to see a big white building. "Is this it?" I asked. She nodded. I started to walk to the door but my mom grabbed me by the arm. "You need to know something first." She whispered to me. "What is it?" I whispered back. " Gringotts is run by goblins." She said. " Goblins!" I whispered/yelled. She nodded and I took a deep breath. I walked up the step to see a sign on the door.

Enter stranger but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay more dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.

I walked into the bank with my mom right behind me. She waked over to a goblin that wasn't busy. "Excuse me sir, we would like to make a withdrawal." The goblin looked at her. "What is your surname?" He asked. "Fallon." She replied. "Very well, follow me." The goblin barked, jumping out of his seat.

We followed him down the hall and he stopped to call for a cart. We hopped in and he took us to our vault. "Key please." He asked my mom. She handed it to him. The goblin unlocked our vault.

My mom stepped inside to scope out some coins. I peeked in and there was a ton of money! When she was done getting everything I needed she stepped out so the goblin could lock it again.

We rode in the cart back up to the main level. We hopped and and the goblin nodded to us.

"So what's first on you list?" My mom asked.
