The galaxy in her eyes

Age 10

It was the evening of the full moon. The air was cold as to expected from a winter night.

Nova headed down into the cellar that would hold her until the werewolf inside her left until next moon. As she was walking down she heard a noise coming from outside the front door of the Mistly manor.

"Nova...father...anyone!" it was her little brother Zach. She headed out the door in the direction of yelling. Once out the door she saw her brother under a mess of fallen logs. Ever since greyback bit her she has had a tough time being a werewolf, but the extra strength was a plus. Perfect in situations like this.

Once she removed enough branches for her brother to get out he hopped out and hugged his big sister. "Thank you Nova" Nova would do anything in her power to protect her little brother. He was basically the only family she had, with her mother killed and father now cold and distant she could only count on zach.

Something started to make her body over come with pain as she pushed away her brother. The pain would not stop and suddenly she realized the full moon was shining right above her.

Zach saw the pain in his sister's eyes. She started to fall to the ground "go....ge-get.....father". And with that zach started into a sprint twords the manor.

He managed to get his father and headed out the giant metal doors, but when they saw the wolf like creature it look as if it was going to attack them. He heard his father whisper "I'm sorry Nova...I'm so sorry" then a shout "INCENDIO" then a bright rope of fire shot out of his fathers wand and hit Nova across her face causing the creature to fall to the ground blacking out.

That day would never be forgotten she still wears the scar.
