"Thank you so much for the tea, Mrs.Park." Winter bowed politely with a kind smile written across her features.
Jimin's mother beamed back immediately, "It's honestly nothing, sweetheart." afterwards, she left the living room.
It was always busy in her boyfriend's home. Whenever she would go to Jimin's house there was something going on. After all, he does live with three generations of his family. From great grandparents to siblings. Yes, it was a full house.
On the days where it was not as full, like today, the family was out doing something and Jimin did not want to attend. Those were the best days for Winter because she knew she would have some alone time with her favorite person ever.
"Jimin, remember when I told you that I'm flying back to Korea to visit my sister?" Winter asked, taking a sip of her tea soon after.
Jimin thought about it and then simply nodded, "Yeah, I do remember. Why?"
"Well," Winter began and pulled out to plane tickets. The next part was now obvious. "You can come with me!" she smiled gleefully.
Jimin was indeed shocked, but he was definitely happy. He thought that he would have to spring break all by himself and that meant no Winter. Jimin could not stand one day of air without her.
"Seriously?!" he stood up with a bright smile glued to his face. Winter nodded hysterically and Jimin swooped her in for a big hug. He thanked her millions of times before letting go.
"Now what are you two doing?" Jimin's mom walked back in with a pitcher full of tea and set it on the coffee table.
Jimin and Winter both turned back with pink cheeks and grinned towards his mom. Winter had a seat and Jimin approached his mom with his plane ticket in his hand.
"May I go with Winter to Korea this Spring Break?" Jimin asked with hopeful eyes. He wanted the answer to be yes so badly.
At first, his mother was caught by surprise, but eventually she agreed slowly, "It's in two days though.. that's soon."
"I know, eomma." Jimin admitted and took his mother in for a big hug, "But I will miss you to death. I promise to call everyday." he promised.
"You promise?" she asked carefully and looked her son in his eyes.
"I promise." He reassured.
...
"Your eyes have been locked in that phone all day, Joohyun." Hoseok admitted while flipping a pencil lazily within his fingers.
It was not the whole gang today, but there was a few. Taehyung could not come because he said it was a 'Jungkook Emergency' and Yoongi said he couldn't come and did not even give a reason. Joohyun had a feeling she knew why, though, so she left it alone.
It was just Hoseok, Joohyun, and Namjoon. The three musketeers you could say. They were all gathered at Hoseok's house, the usual, just to hang out. After all, it was the weekend and Spring Break has just begun.
"Me?" Joohyun looked up and stared at Hoseok, who's eyes were already locked on to hers. "Oh, well, I have just been looking through Facebook and I found..."
"You found Winter, didn't you?!" Namjoon hollered excitedly and had a seat next to Joohyun.
Quickly, Joohyun blocked her phone screen away from him and hissed, "Yah!" her mood immediately changed, "I-I did, but it's not good news... I know your loud mouths would go straight to Jungkook."
"Winter's cheating?" Hoseok chuckled, finding the situation very obvious.
Namjoon nodded and looked at Hoseok, "but she isn't cheating though. She just found someone else."
Hoseok agreed after Namjoon and Joohyun became angrier by the second. Her skin began to boil as they continuously spoke about how they knew what was going to happen and that they saw it coming.
"Enough!" she shrieked, causing the two of them to stop what they were talking about and listen. "Now, you know Jungkook's heart would be crushed if he found out that Winter is dating another man. Right? So, don't tell him... please God, don't tell him."
The both of them groaned, but nodded in agreement anyways. They may have wanted to tell Jungkook the 'I told you so' line, but Jungkook was still their friend and they did not want him hurt more than he already is.
"Fine, but when he finds out on his own... don't you think that would be worse?" Hoseok stated with a good argument.
His question was worthy of a debate, but Joohyun had a huge head ache and did not want to get any deeper into the situation. It's over and it's done.
"Hoseok. Please." Joohyun called and held on to the temples of her head in pain.
Namjoon realized that Joohyun had a head ache and decided that it was best they go. Namjoon picked Joohyun up bridal style and carried her out. Hoseok waved them goodbye and they left.
...
Jungkook was trapped in the corner, sopping like a baby. He was now weak; falling to his knees. Taehyung was glued to the other end of the bedroom, frightened.
"Yoongi! Please! Just don't!" Taehyung shook his head furiously and shielded his eyes with both of his shaking, pale hands.
Yoongi glanced back at Taehyung, "Shut the hell up!" He screamed and looked back down at Jungkook.
He was fragile by now and Yoongi knew it. Taking advange of Jungkook now was all too easy.
"Winter has a boyfriend!" Yoongi spat and kicked Jungkook in the gut, causing the weak one to curl up in a ball, "She does not care about you and never will! Give the fuck up!"
Jungkook's tears grew louder and louder. Taehyung tried to go over and save Jungkook, but all too quickly, Yoongi's fist hit Taehyung right in his nose.
Taehyung touched his nose carefully. He felt a liquid on his index finger and moved his hand towards his eyes to see it. It was indeed blood.
"Oh my god.." Taehyung panicked and stepped backward; unaware of where he was going.
He tripped clumsily over a knocked over office chair and fell straight on to his back with a loud grunt.
Yoongi did not plan on moving, but decided to pick Jungkook up by his collar, "Hit me." he demanded, "Do it for Winter."
Jungkook shook his head aggressively and attempted to squirm his way out of Yoongi's reach. All to no use.
Suddenly, Jungkook held both of his arms out to Yoongi for a bear hug while crying a ocean. Yoongi hugged him back more violently in attempt to knock Jungkook down. Yoongi succeeded and slammed Jungkook on to the hard wood ground.
"I thought you were our friend.." Taehyung coughed and fell back down weakly.
Yoongi chukled and stepped over toward Taehyung with a bright smile spread across his face, "I was, but I am sick of you two and your little hope spell. Winter has a boyfriend. You hear that? I just had to knock some sense into you. Literally."
