I awoke on something oddly comfy seeing as I remember passing out on a porch. I sat up and looked around the mystery room. I was on a giant, expensive bed with velvet covers. A wooden nightstand stood to my right, hosting a glass of water. On my left was a window which thankfully was covered by curtains.
The room itself was in a pale blue shade, with small darker blue floral detailed wallpaper.
"Oh, you're awake!" I whipped my head around to a young boy holding a tray of toast and a tea set.
"Hi, I'm Camden," he placed the tray on the nightstand. "Is your wound okay? I bandaged it, but I'm not exactly a doctor myself."
I frowned and looked down at my chest. I suppose I didn't notice the fact that the arrow was removed from my body and a gauze bandaged took its place.
"I was pretty surprised to find you, to be honest." He sat down on the edge of the bed and ran his hand through his weird skunk-like hair. "Its not everyday you find a stranger passed out on your porch." I agreed. He nodded. "Especially when said stranger has an arrow through his chest. What happened?"
"Hunting accident." He nodded in a way where he didn't seem to believe me, but also didn't want to press. "Okay...well, I'll look around for some spare clothes for you. Feel free to use the shower." He smiled. "I'll go see if my godfather has any clothes here. You're closer in size to him than me."
He closed the door with a soft click.
I stared at the wooden door, dumbfounded and grinning from ear to ear.
"The idiot...with that ugly hair..." I couldn't help the giggle that rose from my throat. "Ah, I'm so going to drain him." I took a quick glance at the decor, noticing the expensive looking metals. "Maybe a little bit of robbing too."
I ran a hand through my hair, just thinking of ripping the kid apart and scouring his house for expensive things. But that'll wait.
"First...I'll gain his trust." I muttered as I slid off my pants and underwear. "Then, maybe I'll fuck him...then definitely kill him."
I sighed as I stepped into the shower and just let the hot water pour over my body. It didn't relax me, I was always cold.
Side effect of being dead, I guess.
Damn! Even the shampoo was expensive in here. I remember seeing this same brand, once before...
I shudder to think of him. The man who ruined me. Took my heart and destroyed it.
"Whatever. That's in the past. What matters now is getting on the kid's good side."
I quickly washed myself and grabbed one of the ridiculously soft cream colored towels and wrapped it around my waist.
I unwrapped the now soaked gauze and stared at the unblemished skin.
I rolled my eyes. I'm definitely going to have to rewrap it to avoid suspicion. No one gets shot with an arrow one night and wakes up completely healed.
No one mortal, anyway.
I opened the door and we stared at each other, his cheeks becoming a soft peach color.
"I...umm..." he stammered as he unabashedly stared at my naked chest. "Here!" He threw a bundle on the bed and ran out of the room.
I chuckled. "Cute."
Not cute! That's food you're thinking about! I slapped myself for good measure. "What's wrong with me?" I groaned as I shrugged on the too big sweater and sweatpants.
I opened the door and he was standing there. "Hi!" He chirped. "Do the clothes fit well?" I shrugged. "A bit big." He nodded. I smirked. "You forgot to give me underwear."
He turned red, like a shocked skunk. "That...that means..."
"Yeah. Commando. What else could I do?" I grinned. "Put on my dirty underwear?"
He seemed to turn redder. That's good. He must have a lot of blood. I like it when it takes a long time for prey to slowly die in my arms.
He pulled a cell phone out of his pocket and dialed a number, resting his phone between his shoulder and head. "Could you tell me your sizes, please?"
"An extra large for shirts, a large for pants...and--" I leaned in close to him. "--An extra extra large in the crotch area."
He blinked and practically dropped the phone. "I..." I walked away from him already, happy with his reaction.
This is going to be a piece of cake. He gets flustered just from a dick joke.
I'll have him underneath me in no time.
"Tea?" He whispered as he pulled the phone a little bit away from his face.
"I prefer coffee, thank you." Knowing damn well I probably won't drink it.
