Chapter One: The Text and the Plan

The room was quiet after Thalia spoke those three words. All that could be heard was the sobs of Nico. The room was in shock. Nobody expected this to happen. It was all too sudden, too... sad.

"Wh-what? You-you've got to be kidding me," Percy exclaimed, clearly frustrated. "This can't be happening!"

"Well it's fucking happening Percy!" Nico shouted, his voice laced with frustration too. "It's fucking happening whether you like it or not!"

"Guys. GUYS. We all need to calm down! Yelling about it, it's not gonna help!" Piper yelled over Nico and Percy. Nico and Percy immediately stopped fighting. Nobody can not resiste Piper authoritative voice.

Thalia thought for a moment when everyone started talking about what happened and when Bianca got killed and shit. 'Jason. I wonder how Jason is right now. I wonder if he's even alive right now. What if he isn't? But what if he is? I could find him and finally be reunited with him. I wonder what he looks like. I wonder-' Thalia's thinking fit cit of for a moment when her phone buzzed in her back pocket. It was Artemis, Leader of the Hunt and her half-sister. The Hunt was a group of maiden women at swore of sex and boys and all that jazz. They travel the country and are mostly lesbians or anything that involves the words "girl(s)/woma(e)n/her/she." She was currently taking a break from that, seeing as all of the hunt died with Bianca. She was still traveling the country though, just with her twin and her half-brother, Apollo, or Lester Papadopoulos. He was a famous musician before he stopped that and decided to take up being a doctor. Now he's gone from being a world-renowned doctor, to a famous poet and fortune teller. He's quite talented, if Ido say myself. Despite his, annoying personality, he's quite knowledgable

Art-e-mis: hey. I'm in San Fran rn and I thought I just saw someone that looks a lot like Apollo. the same blue eyes, blond hair, and apparently on apollos part "hot, muscular bod." he also has a scar on the top of his kisser. just letting you kno. could b bb jase. you never kno. love you ♡

"Thalia, who were you texting?" Annabeth asked. She looked curious. Not many people text her anymore. They normally just call her.

"That was Artemis, my half-sister. She thought she saw Jason, my younger brother," Thalia spoke, "Her description of him is on point. Blond hair, blue eyes, scar on lip. She's in San Francisco at the moment."

They room was quiet after that. All attention was on Thalia.

"Well then! What are we gonna do now that we have this information?" Percy said, excited. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Thals?"

"Yes Percy, I am, but what are gonna do about this whole... situation...? I'm not over what happened, but now that I have the opportunity to find my long lost brother, I'm gonna take it. Nico, you have any objections?"

"None at all. You can do whatever you wanted to do. I won't have any objections. I want you to find your brother." Was all Nico replied with. He went back to cuddling into Will, without the crying this time.

"How about we......go on a road trip to San Francisco? I have a van we can store food and seven people in it comfortably. It can be a family trip. You don't have to go though. You can go to camp and I'll go alone." Thalia said, nervous and excitement creeping up on her.

"OF FUCKING COURSE WE WANT TO GO ON A ROAD TRIP!!! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!" They all said. They all started rambling on about how much fun it would be and the sites they'd see.

"Thalia? Can I, uh, speak to you in private for a moment?" Will asked quietly. He looked nervous. I'm pretty sure I knew what this was about. We went into the kichten.

"Is this about your dad being with Artemis? Do you not want to go? You don't have to." Thalia questioned.

"Uhhhh, yea. But I'm totally going. It's just that nobody knows that you're technically my aunt. And I don't plan on telling anyone soon. It's so awkward. That's why all my siblings took my moms last name, Solace. We didn't want to be, per say, noticed..." Will said. He was right, it was awkward, but that still didn't make him any less the brother she thought he was to be.

"I still think of you as my brother, so you're my brother. Part of my big ass family and I love you all. It doesn't matter if your dads there. We're just gonna have fun and hopefully find my brother. That ok?"

"That's amazing, thank you Thalia!" Will ran out of the kichten and pounced on Nico. "What was that all about Will?" "Nothing really, just had to ask a question, Ghost King."

"Ok Thalia, let's pack snacks because those people are hungry shits." She whispers to herself, already packing snacks. She packed two bags full of snacks like; cookies, goldfish, cheez-it's, Pringles, chips, candy, cereal, pretty much everything. She sneaked up to her room to get some money and clothes. She packed a week worth of clothes in her bag, you never know. She pack about $1,000, enough to get them from New York to San Francisco. She went back down stairs with the money and bag. She loaded everything into the very back of her van and stepped into the living room again.

"Well come on everybody, go pack your shit. We got a road trip to start!"

Gah, I loved writing this chapter. I'm eating starburst and being pubescent. Oops. Hope y'all love the chapter. I feel like this chapter went to fast tho. I'd like it if you'd leave some constructive criticism oops I want to make this better. I'm young and pubescent. I'm very awkward when it comes to saying see you later or goodbye. Sorry....
