jeonghan was 11 years old when he first met jisoo.

he remembers seeing the boy when he was transferred into his class, everyone stared at him when the teacher announced him as a foreigner who had moved to Korea after living in America.

no one wanted to go up to the boy since he was different. he was alone during class, at lunch, during recess, and during their library trips.

so jeonghan decided, after several days of seeing the lonely boy, to go up to him and introduce himself.

what he got in response was a shy smile from the small boy, whom wasn't confident in the way he spoke Korean, seeing as it was all new to him as well.

but with the passing years, the two were able to help each other out in things that the other was better at, such as reading and speaking fluent Korean for jisoo, and learning basic English phrases for jeonghan.

but then it all changed, their actions would become sweeter, whenever jeonghan would succeed in an English phrase, he would feel so accomplished of making jisoo smile knowing that he was helping him, so he tried harder to learn more, just to see him smile.

as for jisoo, he would give jeonghan so much attention and say loving things towards him in English since he hadn't taught him such words yet.

but jeonghan decided to look up endearing words in the foreign language so he could use them on the other. and when he did, he recognized some things that he had heard coming from jisoo's mouth.

he felt so overwhelmed, having not known what the words meant previous to that moment. all of this time, the boy had been confessing to him without him knowing.

so jeonghan learned how to properly pronounce certain words and phrases on his own so he could confess towards jisoo.

when the day finally came, he noticed that the other boy had kept on saying the words that he had become familiar with after learning them on his own. this caused his heartbeat to speed up, since he had been so oblivious to it all before.

he was so nervous over how his pronunciation would be, hoping that he wouldn't mess up on something so important to him.

"jisoo, I have something important to tell you" he had told the other in his native language. to which jisoo looked over at him nervously, "I want to say it in English, so don't laugh at me if I get anything wrong" jeonghan pleaded.

jisoo kept his eyes on jeonghan , waiting for him to speak. he noticed how nervous the boy was, so he old him that he would never laugh at him, which encouraged the other to finally confess.

jeonghan took in a deep breath and finally let it spill out. "jisoo, I wanted to tell you that I really like you. I have for quite some time now, and I tried my hardest to learn how to confess to you. and while doing this, I found some things that I've heard you say to me, so it confirms our feelings towards each other, so I hope you will accept me and be my boyfriend."

jisoo stared at him wide eyed, upset because he had been caught on what he said, and over not being able to confess first. but then he smiled so widely that jeonghan fell deeper in love with him.

"of course I'll be your boyfriend, if you already know how I feel then there's no reason for you to have been so nervous."

jeonghan was so glad to have jisoo as his boyfriend, he didn't know what he should do now that they were together, so he did what came to mind first, he threw his arms over his shoulders and hugged him so tightly, afraid that he would disappear so soon.

jisoo laughed lightly over how adorable his boyfriend was, and he hugged him just as tightly.

I'm sorry this is kinda awkward and in pretty sure it's my longest update on here, anyways... I tried my best since I don't really ship these two but then again I kind of do?? does that make any sense?? idc. but yeah, this book was made basically so I could write random shit about seventeen that other people might like to read since I like to read anything and everything about them... even if it's sometimes illiterate, I just keep reading bc I have nothing else to do...
