They both continued walking. Toby used to live in the mansion, but as he had problems with Slenderman, he began to live in the woods. He knew the forest very well, so he was helping Laura to find a safe place to camp, away from the rest of the CreepyPastas and obviously, Slender.
They stopped by a lake. The sight was beautiful and creepy at the same time.
Laura set up the tent with Toby's help. "How much will you stay around here, Laura?" he asked raising a brow.
"Well....I was thinking about a week more or less, but I don't know exactly."
Both finished to set the tent and stuff and sat by the lake.
"Laura...can I ask you a question?" He said shyly.
"Yeah, what is it." She replied looking at him.
"Can I call you Lau...?"He said looking down. "Laura reminds me of Lyra....and Lau sounds more friendly...so....d-do you agree?
"Of course!" She said smiling.
He smiled at her too.For first time in a very long time, he felt comfortable with a person besides the other CreepyPastas.
