Chapter 11

Radha is stuffing the pieces of apple in her mouth. Then drinking the orange juice that's next to her. It looked like she was hungry since forever. I looked at her as she was stuffing everything in her mouth.

She looked at me to give me a piece of Apple. "Do you want it?" She asked.

"No. I am good. You eat," I told her.

She nodded and started eating again. In like in a minute she finished everything. This happened for several weeks now I think. All we are we're fruits and all we were drinking was fruit's juice. I don't even know the date but I think we have spent almost a month or so together. No one found us and we were in our little world together.

I have started to grow feelings towards her when I shouldn't. How many girls can a guy like me handle at a time? First there's Meeta, who I am... Engaged to then it's my Radha who I haven't seen in years and now there's this Radha who is a total stranger to me. I don't know why but I want to protect her more than Meeta and my Radha.

I don't even think I should call her my Radha because I remember appi told me that she is here to meet her "friend" who is a BOY. I am sure she likes him. Why do I care? And since when did I start feeling so jealous? I shouldn't forget that Meeta is my first priority. She is the one who will be staying with me, my entire life.

I saw Radha shivering because out of nowhere it's cold in this house. It's like someone is controlling this house. One minute it's normal and then it gets hot and the next minute it's cold. We have been dealing with this for quiet enough time. It's really weird.

I put my hand on her hand which is sitting flat on the table. She smiled as I did the same. Sometimes we had moments like this and it's just so awkward that all we do is smile at each other. I looked at my engagement ring and stopped smiling. "I can't betray Meeta" was all that I was thinking. I took my hand off from her hand. She noticed that I was wearing a ring.

"Are you engaged... Or Is it ju... Just a fancy rin...ring?" She asked as she shivering.

"Engaged," I said looking around.

"Oh... Umm... To?" She asked as she also looked around.

"Umm... Meeta," I said not looking into her eyes.

"She is a really nice girl... I've... I really enj... Enjoyed her company the other night at... The party," she said honestly.

"Ya... Ya she is..." I said looking at the floor.

"Why aren't you happy?" She asked as she tried to find my eyes which were still glued to the floor.

"Why do you ask that?" I asked.

"Well you... Don't seem exit.. Exited about her at all," she said as she shivered again.

"Are you feeling ok?" I asked her as I brushed my hands together.

"Y.. Ya everyth... Everything's cool," she said shivering.

"Yeah I noticed that everything's cool," I said as I blew on my hands and rubbed them together.

"Actually... Everything's n... Not ok," she said as she shivered. "Why don't we go outside for a while? We will feel better."

"Umm... We can't go outside," I snapped at her.

"Umm.. May I know why?" She asked.

"Umm..." I said as she looked at me waiting for me to answer. How can I tell her that the person behind all this doesn't want us to go outside? Even I don't know why he doesn't want us to go outside?

"Hello?" She said as she snapped her fingers near my face.

"I will go in the room and check the setting for the A.C," I said as I stood up and went inside the room.

I went inside the room and it was freezing there. I looked at the temperature and it was 20 degrees Celsius. But how is it possible? When I changed the setting today in the morning it was normal. Something's wrong with this house.

I try to change the temperature but it wasn't working. When I tried to change it, the temperature just dropped to 10 degrees Celsius. It got a lot more colder than it was before.

I opened the drawers in the closet to find us something to wear for tonight. All I found was a huge jacket, the size was maybe triple XL. I am sure we both will fit in that for tonight. I was thirsty and I saw a glass of water sitting on the desk. I went to the desk and took the glass of water and tried to drink from it but the water was frizzed. It transformed into a glass of ice.

I went outside with the jacket and saw Radha on the floor near the door shivering. The door was open and I am sure she tried to go outside. She was unconscious. I went to her and put her on my lap. "Radha? Radha?" I called out but she didn't say anything.

I picked her up bridal style and took her to the bedroom. I put her on the bed and put the blanket on top of her. Nothing changed. Her condition was still the same, she was shivering and shaking. I started rubbing her hands and then her feet.

After sometime of doing that I started feeling a little normal again. It wasn't as cold as it was before. I looked at the temperature and it was back to normal again. Radha didn't wake up yet. I went near her and rubber her hands.

She slowly opened her eyes still shaking a little. "You ok?" I asked her. She looked at me and nodded no. "You will be ok. Just have faith in me."

"You kn... Know I can't stay at a place if it's free... Freezing. It's like I catch a co...cold quickly," she said as she sneezed. "See."

"Umm... Now it's normal here. Do you still feel cold?" I asked.

"Normal? It's still as cold as it was before," she said as she shivered.

I have to do something to warm her up. I stood up and looked at the temperature. I tried to make it hotter in here but it didn't work. "I don't know what else to do to warm you up," I said sounding disappointed.

"It's ok krish. At least you tried," she said.

Bodies are warm aren't they? What if I warm her up with my body? No. She won't agree with this but that's the only option.

"How about I warm you up with my body?" I asked her as she looked at me shockingly.

"It's been a month and they haven't came back. Should we worry?" Asked Anupam.

"I went to Meeta's house but she said Amresh is out for a business trip. And we know that isn't true," said nana.

"Should we involve police in this? Asked Anupam.

"No. What if Amresh gets to know about it? He might do something with krish and Radha. I think we should wait for another phone call," said nana.

"Rohan and others were asking about krish and Radha. What should we tell them?" Asked Anupam.

"Just make up a story and tell them. They will believe it you know it," said nana.

"I think that would work. You track down Amresh and I will handle others," said Anupam as he went outside the house.

"I will find you Amresh. You can't hide from me. If anything happens to krish or Radha I will make sure to show you my worst side," said nana to himself.
