Like who else thinks this is the best title for this chapter. It reminds of Mulan so now you can have this song stuck in your head.
James and Corina both enter the kitchen still bickering over who was wrong in this situation. "Well while you two were arguing your little pet over here managed to find himself one of the Carlin boys" Selene announces, annoyance all but evident in her tone. With his remark James and Corina both stop speaking and look to her with horror in their eyes. "What the hell are they doing here in the first place? Mr. Carlin knows not to get involved in these affair." Corina states, flipping her hair in the process. "If Mr. Carlin finds out that you were the ones that "took" Adrienne he's going to raise hell" Selene spits out making James flinch. "It's not like his son recognized the boy so we are fine, you're overreacting Selene" James announces. Walking over to the passed out boy James picks up Adrienne. "You two can take care of getting rid of the guests, I'll take Adrienne upstairs. You two better make sure those Carlin boys actually leave, we don't need someone snooping around" he says walking up the stairs with Adrienne snoring away.
The next morning Adrienne wakes up to the worst hangover ever. Leaning up in bed he notices James sleeping figure beside him still sound asleep. Looking around the room he realizes hes in James bed. Slowly slipping out of the covers Adrienne sneaks out the door and down the hall not recognizing anything. Hearing voices from up the stairs Adrienne decides that that's the way to go.
After making it to the top he notices Corinas perfume and realizes she's the one talking. Taking a couple more steps towards the door she's behind he notices another woman's voice, but he doesn't recognize this one. "James is blinded by his obvious affection for the boy, we need to relocate him somewhere far away from here" the unknown woman says anger laced in every word. "Come on Selene they didn't recognize him, we can't just start over again. This is the third time we've had to and I'm getting tired of James reliving the situation over and over" Corina states sympathetically. "If James didn't want to continue the restart then he should've gotten out of this buisness when he could. Taken the boy and ran away, but no he put his work duties above the boy he loved. How many times does Adrienne have to die before he gets the memo?" Selene screams out. Hearing this Adriennes eyes go wide. What do they mean by that? He doesn't want to find, taking this chance he sneaks back down the stairs and back into bed with James.
Maybe they weren't talking about him, Adrienne isn't that odd of a name. He can't help but wonder what they mean and how complicated the situation really is. Deciding that he won't get any sleep he gets back up and decides that exploring a different part of the mansion will hopefully get his mind of all this.
Exiting the room he heads in the opposite direction of the stairs and the room that Corina and that Selene girl were in. "And what do you think you're doing awake?" Spinning around Adrienne sees James standing at the end of the hall in his boxers with his arms folded. "I um wanted to explore a little, you've only shown me a small part of the estate" Adrienne says hoping it's a good enough excuse. "How about this, I'll show you the rest of the place after some breakfast?" he asks. Leading Adrienne to the kitchen James pulls out a seat and waits for the boy to sit. Walking into the kitchen he begins to prepare breakfast and Adrienne can't help but feel a form of deja vu with this scene playing out in front of him.
-wam bam turkey and ham. So that's the end of this one. What do you guys think Corina and Selene were talking about?
