Dear Friend,
I am looking out the window seeing you on your usual swing with the usual tears escaping your eyes. You moved in 6 days ago with a man who I think is your father. Your scared of him I can tell by the way you never make eye contact and flinch when he moves close to you. You dont deserve to cry, your too perfect for sadness. I heard your father yelling, sounds of shattering glass and then your cry. I wanted to run next door to save you, trust me I did. You ran outside with blood coming from your hands as if you tried to block the glass from hitting you face. I know you hide at the park so he doesnt hurt you. I would never hurt you Kate. He's not worth your tears. No one is worth them.
Sincerely, X
