GABRIEL'S POV

A long, long time ago,

"Hey come on, wake up!" a voice demanded.

"Yeah, yeah!" I answered.

This is why I hate my mornings, my roommate named Clark Gibson always bothered me, for most of the part at least.

So, I'm Gabriel Evans. An ordinary stormtrooper. A Corporal in the ranks.

"Home to the storms, a good place to be on..." I'd whisper to myself, almost in a sarcastic way.

I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom, I then brushed my teeth and wore my stormtrooper suit, helmet, armor, and what not. Then I walked out of the room.

As I walked down the hallway and I saw my roommate.

"Guess what?" Clark said sarcastically as he crossed his arms.

I'd shrug. "I don't know. What?" I'd ask.

Clark pointed at the room.

"You forgot your weapon," Clark said.

I panicked for a short second as I remembered.

I exclaimed," Oh god! Thanks Clark! I owe you one," I ran.

"You're so forgetful," Clark whisphered to himself and walked to the opposite direction.

I ran to our room to pick up my weapons on the rack, then went back out of the room to go to the control center to see what was going on there to check it out, I don't usually go in the control center but I was tired enough. P

A soon as I got there there were transmissions from other ships and, a fair amount of talking, usual stuff that happens here. Then... I saw one empty place where no one was in. The door was actually slightly open from the bottom. I considered it was broke or something. It was Room 10921. As the number stated on top of the door. I'm pretty sure it was a storage room, or... one of the last living quarters, it was right next to the entrance of the control room.

I checked inside. Nobody wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, for the mean time anyway. I pushed the green button to open it.

Soon then, Clark came in then he saw me check. I looked around the room, checking for anything unusual. Making sure something else wasn't different in there too. Clark spotted me and stood in front of the door.

"Hey G., whats going on?" Clark said.

"Oh nothing, I was just checking this room, too see if nothing weird was going on, I got suspicious... the door was barely open, looked like it was broke," I'd say.

"Oh... yeah, you should go out now," Clark said worriedly.

"Why?" I'd ask, I became confused and paranoid at the same time, did something just peer out of something from the room and is now staring at me?

"You just need to get out now," Clark got more worried.

He heard a growl but, I didn't, somehow. Then he rushed to the door when I went out then he closed the door, it worked.

"Clark, what's the rush?!" I'd asked.

"Just forget what happened," Clark said nervously and thinking about the strange looking stormtrooper he witnessed.

Then, the door got banged, it's material ripped off of the strange stormtrooper's room. Then all the crew and other troopers got distracted then most of them were confused, for the most part, they looked at me and Clark. It felt uncomfortable.

"What's going o—" I'd say, then there was an explosion.

Blast! Me and Clark flew right near a group of stormtroopers, some of them fell from the impact of us.

"SHOOT IT!" an officer shouted to fire at the strange thing.

They all fired then, it broke out on a crazy rampage. A few of the officers and stormtroopers fired at the thing, when it was running trying to kill everybody.

Me and Clark got it took down. We both killed it along with some help of the troopers, everybody crowded us and looked at it.

"Take his helmet off," an officer suggested.

As I took off the helmet. We were all shocked. He looked like a zombie, but how?

"Is it a zombie or something?" I'd ask Clark.

Clark just shrugged, in huge confusion.

"I don't know, but it looks like a zombie to me," Clark answered, looking at me then back at the zombie.

The intercom from a control panel at the front would turn on, loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Imperial Star Destroyer of Metal 5, do you copy?" said a mysterious voice.

"Our hyperdrive is down, and we need immediate assistance," the voice would say.

"Imperial Star Destroyer, Metal 5, do you copy?" said the voice again.

"Sir, they're comms are up but we are picking up no response," said another voice.

An officer tried to respond, it wouldn't work. Me, Clark, and the others were confused on what to do.

"Vector 396, this is the commander of the 'Purge', from picking up your distress call, prepare to be boarded," said a voice, seeming to be the commander of a ship.

"We never called in a distress signal," an officer said, confused.

"Then who did?" I asked.

"I don't know," the officer replied.

"We need to escape to another ship, though about that 'Purge' ship that's coming this way," an officer said.

"Though we are gonna have a lockdown soon!" a stormtrooper exclaimed.

"How are we gonna get out of here..?" I'd whisper to myself.

I soon then figured out something that could work.

"Why dont we try to deactivate the lockdown, we can use the overr—" I'd pause what I was saying because the power had just shut down, unexpectedly.

"What happened?" Clark asked worriedly.

"I don't know, but it was shutdown by something," I replied.

"Hold on, what in the galaxy is that?!" Clark shouted as he pointed somewhere.

"Oh dear," an officer said, taking out his blaster.

We all looked at the place that Clark was pointing at.

"Oh no, don't tell me..." an officer whispered to himself.

"I think it is..." I said.
