We rested in the hut, it had supplies in it, which was good for us. I still couldn't forget about Eket, especially after what had happened to Nkik. Clark was unusual, I looked back and saw him sleeping, along with the other half of the group. Dathcha was sharpening a knife he had.
Clark looked strange, he looked tired, which was not usual. I saw some zombies outside, so I covered up the windows or anything that would make us exposed to them.
"Nobody's getting in or out until they leave," I said to myself.
Dathcha came up to me, "Eyeta?"
I turned around and said to him, "Huh?"
Dathcha asked me if there were any zombies outside, and I told the truth. But then he told me that he noticed Clark didn't look normal, his eyes were droopy and that he was coughing. There's no way he would turn into a zombie, not a friend of mine.
I adjusted my breath mask and said to Dathcha, "Keep an eye on him, will you?"
Dathcha nodded and went back to the wall and sat down, continuing to sharpen his knife. I watched the zombies roam from a peek hole I made from the barricades covering the windows. Some were Wookies, which scared me, and some were the spiders, which made me even more afraid. I kept myself quiet so the infected would not be alerted.
I saw Jessica, who was awake, and went up to her and said, "Stay quiet and don't make a sound, okay? Zombies are outside..."
Jessica replied, asking me, "Okay, the occasional?"
"Wookies and Wyyyschokks," I answered the question.
Jessica nodded, "They're dangerous, I presume."
"Yeah," I replied, glancing at the blocked windows.
It was the dead of night, I determined the infected mostly came out at night. The number of zombies grew, I looked at Clark and saw him covering his arm, I wondered why, but it was a bit cold outside. That's when I realized he was the only one doing it.
"Are they still out there?" Jessica asked me.
I was startled and almost jumped, then I turned around and said quietly, "You scared me, yes, they're still out there."
"Sorry," Jessica said.
I replied, "You're fine."
I looked at Jessica sit back down, she was cleaning her blaster, I saw Dathcha asleep, guess the sharpening of his knife made him sleepy. I returned looked back at the window, but I knew I was gonna fall asleep, soon.
~ Later ~
I realized I fell asleep, it was morning and I noticed the entire group was gone, besides Dathcha. I quickly got up to wake up Dathcha so we could find him.
"Where did they go?!" I asked myself.
Dathcha just shrugged, he obviously didn't know either. We looked around the trees, there was still no sight of them, then I realized that they could've been in the falcon.
"The falcon, they could be in it," I said.
Dathch replied, "Ibana."
We went to the falcon, it was still there, but the ramp was closed. I banged on it but nobody opened it. We continued to look around, my instincts kicked in. I took out my blaster, Dathcha got the feeling and took out his weapon as well.
"Do you see them?" I asked Dathcha.
Dathcha replied, "Nyeta."
"All right, keep looking," I murmured, looking around.
The group was still missing, and since they weren't in the Millennium Falcon, I had no idea where to look. They are either looking for supplies, killing zombies or trying to survive after being alone by raiders or something. There's no way raiders can be on Kashyyyk, they can't be on every planet or place we go to.
I tried contacting Clark with the built-in radio in our helmets, there was no response.
"HELP!" someone yelled, it sounded like Ethan.
I quickly turned to the direction where I heard the noise, I then told Dathcha, "That must be them, come on!"
Me and Dathcha immediately ran, I heard someone else yell help as well, it sounded a lot like Clark.
When we finally reached the place of the sound, me and Dathcha immediately slid down a trench that was luckily there as we saw a horde of zombies crowding a small hut.
"Shh, shh, stay quiet," I whispered to Dathcha.
The horde of infected were loud, but I wanted to stay quiet just in case. I took out blaster, Dathcha followed and took out his Ion gun and pipe. I thought of how we would do this, but I couldn't keep my head straight which would make me not think correctly.
I turned to Dathcha and asked him, "What should we do?" I kept aiming my blaster at the horde.
Dathcha shrugged, I had the same feeling. We would either do this stealthy, which would be merely impossible, or fight in the open and try to save the group. If that Oevvaor jet that shot the Wyyyschokks came in and shot this horde, we would've had no problem, but that's probably not gonna happen.
I realized I had a thermal detonator, I took it out and looked at Dathcha. He nodded, I went with him thinking that I should throw it, so I activated it and tossed it in the horde.
I yelled, "GET DOWN!" hoping the group inside the building would hear me.
I heard the blast of the thermal detonator explode, an infected Wookie flew by us, forcing me to duck as I wanted to check. I noticed that the wall that connected to the door was in the blast radius, and J saw the group hiding behind objects.
"There you are," I exclaimed.
Dathcha got up from the trench and ran inside, I followed. Seeing the group alive made me relieved and I though we needed that Oevvaor jet to swoop down and shoot the zombies, who knows if they're still alive.
"Where have you been?" I asked in slight disappointment.
Clark replied, "We were just looking for supplies for the hut."
Jacob nodded and added, "He's right."
I looked around the hut, it looked empty.
"There's no supplies in here," I noticed.
Clark realized and said, "Yeah, because that horde started chasing us, they know how to run."
I looked behind me, now I was paranoid that an infected Wookie or mutated spider would charge at us. I saw Clark cough, the other half of the group wasn't coughing at all, and they were still wearing their breath mask.
"You okay, Clark?" I asked him.
Clark nodded in response.
Now I started to doubt that Clark was telling the truth, something was obviously wrong with him, and I have to find out.
