Of course I wake at 3am realizing that I forgot to write a one chapter story for my English class, great. Of course at this time I get writers block. The story I have to write is one that I have to give my opinion on something. I think back to this year, at the beginning.
*FLASHBACK*
"Really Grant? A t-shirt and jeans, for the first day of school?" Meg says to me, "well yeah, its just junior year, first day, not a big deal, we have been through this "first day of school" thing 11 years in a row, its getting kind of old, I just don't see the big deal about getting all dressed up for the people you saw two months ago" I say to Meg and Scott.
*FLASHBACK OVER*
I had gotten an idea from that flashback, I open my computer, the brightness blinds me, then I write the title.
"First day of school"
Then the words start to flow out of me, all my opinions on the topic of the first day of school.
My paper:
The first day of school in my opinion is over-rated. People get all excited about picking out the first outfit, then the "perfect" school supplies, it just doesn't make sense to me in my opinion. For me I have had 11 "first day of school" experiences, after a couple years it gets old, like its one thing if you are going into high school, you want to give a good first impression, but after freshman year, there is not really a point in giving a good impression for the people who you have seen already, its better to be yourself all the time than having to be fake the first day. Another thing that is good to do mainly if you are a freshman is to give a good impression on teachers, but after a while they get use to you. My advice to you would to be yourself, and I know that that is so cheesy, but its better to be real than fake.
*END OF PAPER*
Okay, that was most likely the crappiest essay I have ever written, but I guess I will just blame it on my 3am mind.
What did you all think?
