Howl Of The Werewolf

Chapter 2

Ahhh, the holidays. I don’t have to get out of bed. I don’t even have to open my eyes, but i think i should so i do and what i see wakes up a memory of yesterday that I’d nearly forgotten. I passed out yesterday with a scratch from a werewolf. Great, I'll go for a walk that'll clear my head. I stand up. That’s strange it feels like I’m on fours not two’s. I look at my hands. No hands just grey paws. Hey wait what!! Great I’ve woken up as werewolf. What did Jane say about how to shift from werewolf to human? It was at the start of the year i was asking about werewolves because she knew so much about them. Ah i remember. She said they just imagine themselves human. Ok so i imagined my blond hair, my green eyes and my tall figure. I open my eyes i can’t believe it. I did it i looked over at Jane. Her face looked troubled and tear stained. I could see a slightly human look to her wolf face. I decide to wake her up.  I shook her.  She mumbled something that sounded like "piss off I’m tired' i laugh to myself quietly and said

  "Jane wake up, I changed back to human by myself”  this time she opened her eyes and looks at me with those big blue eyes  that always make me melt. In an instant she was human and she said

 "Last night half an hour after you passed out you fell asleep” How could she know when i fell asleep you can’t tell the difference between someone whose passed out and someone whose asleep.

 "How do you know?' i ask and she replied simply

 "You talk in your sleep”

 "Oh" i said "Did you hear what i said?”

 "No. You also mumble, we only got bits and pieces and most of it sounded really funny”

 "Oh, well you told me to piss off this morning" i said.

  "Well, that’s what you get for waking me" she replied. We laughed, then we heard Jarred moan.

 "Whoops i forgot he was here. We’ll have to be quiet"

 "Nah, we got to get moving anyway" she said. Then she walked over to Jarred and gave him a nice smack to back of the head. Ouch i remember when she did it when she was mucking around, but this was a full on smack. He growled.

 "Don’t growl at me you big baby we got to get moving” she said, like he was a little domestic puppy.

 “Doesn’t mean you have to hit me" he said.

 “Do you know how hard it is to wake you up any other way?” she asked, knowingly. I laughed under my breath.

 "What’s so funny?” she said.

 “You two sound like siblings" I replied.

 "Oh, well were not” she said. Then she turned back into a wolf i just stared.

 "Well” she said.

 "Well what?" i asked. She rolled her eyes like she did yesterday and said

 "It’s easier to keep up if you're wolf "

 "Oh . . . right" I say. So i imagined myself a wolf but i didn’t know what my wolf self looked like so i just imagined myself a big grey wolf and it worked. Jane asked

 “Are we ready?”

  "No ' Jarred mumbled.

 “Oh well' she said and she started running. I followed then Jarred sped up and was ahead of Jane.

 "Do you even know where I’m going?” she asked.

 "The T.M.C” he called back.

 “No. I’m not aloud you dumb ass" she shouted.
