07 •° Rock Bottom

•Jihye's POV•

I woke up lying in my bed. I saw both my parents talking to our personal doctor. It's so rare seeing them in the house. It's been few months since they last spend even an hour here.

"She finally gained consciousness, Madame." The doctor said using his french dialect.

"Merci beaucoup*, Doctor. We appreciate your presence up until now." My mom signaled one of our maids to escort the doctor his way out.

"How long I've been slept?" I asked. "For more than a week, my daughter." My dad look worried. And my mom sat next to the side of the bed. "The doctor said it's due to too much stress. What have you done, Jihye?"

"I don't want to talk about the break up yet, sorry.." they both signed. "Look at you, Jihye. Youre such a mess my baby girl." My mom touched my cheeks and my tears just fell abruptingly. I explained to them about Jiyoon breaking up with me out of the blue and just like I am, they were shocked.

After a moment, both of them receives separate urgent calls from work. "I'm sorry baby girl, duty calls. Both of us will try to reach your phone later on. See you sweetheart." I just noded. Atleast they stayed when I'm still unconscious. It can't be helped.

I opened the tv and watched the news. There's no single section about the controversy of Jiyoon and I. How come it vanished just like that?

I opened my sns and I was right! The fans are not talking about it anymore. It's like it doesn't even happened at all.

I stayed in my room for another few days, the scenario of Jiyoon breaking me up keeps on repeating in my dreams and it made me cried in the middle of the night. I tried to recover from stress as soon as possible for me to go back to school because I have to.

The next day, I planned to go to school but I overslept so instead I decided to go before lunch. I go straight to my cave expecting to find alot of work undone for me but I saw nothing on my table.

"Surprised, study freak?" I stared at him while he was walking toward me holding something.

"Where are all my works? I've been out for less than 2 weeks and there's not even a piece of paper here? What happened"

"Chill. I did all of it." Jordan's proud expression irritates me lmao

"Why did you--"

"Stop questioning me ok! After collapsing all of a sudden and making me carry you to your house that night gave me a fright you know." Now that he mentioned it Jordan was with me that moment too.

"I bought too much of these sweets, come and help me eat all these." I take a peak at te box and it's so full of cookies with different colours and sprinkles. "You like these kind of foods huh"

"Shit, No! But girls do love them, right?" He said absent-mindedly while taking a bite of the cookies. "You are being too kind it disgust me" I chucked and Jordan threw a tissue at me. We both have a good conversation before the bell rang and we both need to go to class.

I have 2 weeks of supplementary lessons to fill up my absences so I'm going home late.

Since then, I haven't recieve any messages from Jiyoon so he really meant what he said to me huh. A part of me still can't accept that he broke up with me through the phone.
