"Killani Marie Alpine, you are going and that's that" my evil step-monster screams. You see my father is rich and so is Sarah my step mother, I was brought up with everything I'd ever need but my dad made sure I would never be a posh brat. But being from a rich family has it's downfalls. My parents are always either at work or on business trips and me being 17 means I have to keep up local appearances on their behalf, this includes tonight. We just got new neighbours and they are having a housewarming party which I have to attend, which means I have to dress up all fancy. I hate fancy it's just so uncomfortable. I'm just hoping there will be some eye-candy at this party. My prom is coming up and apparently the neighbours kids are transferring to my school which is a private school of course so hopefully they are hot because I don't have a date for prom and I need one. See I'm the popular girl but I'm not a total bitch either I'm just really rich and my "friends" love it. I would kill for a friend who actually likes me.
