TaoSoo: Hearts In Pain

Seunbi's POV

"Go inside the room."

We're starting our mission. That is to escape the room within an hour. We were grouped my picking of numbers.

My partners are Tao and Kyungsoo.

[Timer! Starts now!]

The escape room is really big! And it's hard for me because I'm still wearing the same stuff.

For the first turn. My partner is Tao. While kyungsoo is on the other side.

"I can't find any clue!" I heard Tao as he rummaged through the pictures. I opened the cabinets trying to find any hints or keys.

"I may look tough in the outside. But I'm really scared in the inside. I'm not as tough as I look. I'm looking tough yet my heart is really rough."

Is he trying to say his problem?

"What are you saying tao?!" I looked at him and glared. He shrugged his shoulders and revealed a notebook.

"I saw a letter! Maybe a clue!"

I rolled my eyes and keep on looking for clues.

Tao's POV

Her dress is too revealing...

I know that she doesn't want to wear it. Because her actions are really obvious.

I removed my leather jacket and approach her. I put on the leather above her shoulders. She looked at me startled.

"S...sorry..I didn't mean to...startle you. Keep the jacket on."

I quickly rummaged through the shelves making an excuse.

"Tao" the way she call my name was filled with gentleness. I slowly faced her.

"Yes? Miss Lee?"

"Do you have something to tell me? Or..is something bothering you?"

My mouth gaped from the tone of her voice.

Maybe this is the perfect opportunity to tell her my real problem. And I'll make my mission as a success.

I looked at her and sighed before talking. "I have this problem. A nightmare. I love someone. Yet. She loves someone else. She loves my older brother. I was so mad that I want my brother to die. I made a huge decision. I..I killed the girl that I love. I'm a..murderer!"

I dropped to the floor while tears are falling from my eyes as I remembered what happened.

"Tao.." I felt two arms around my body.

Is she...hugging me?

"Don't cry..."

"I killed her! But...in the end! My brother was accused of killing her. He knew that...I killed her but he took the blame! I wanted to kill him, yet she protected him!"

Seunbi's POV

I was speechless.

I have nothing to say. He likes someone. I love someone. The girl that he loves, love someone else. The guy that I love, love someone else. His rival is his brother. My rival is my sister. He killed the girl that he love. I ignored the guy that I love. His brother took the blame. My sister was sent away.

"I finally realized...revenge is...not the answer.."

My hands loosened as I heard those words.
