"Seraphina! come here, like, now!"

I reluctantly closed the book I've been reading, before standing up and walking through the cream carpeted floor, barefooted and exited my room.

"Ugh, Hurry up! Will ya?"

"Coming!" I replied, lazily dragging my bare feet through the marble hotel hallway, and towards Serene's pink door.

I faked a smile and greeted my bombshell stepsister. "Serene! I'm here."  She was the eldest of us five, and was the most immature, spoiled, yet cheerful, among my snotty stepsisters. After knocking four times, the door didn't open, so I decided to reveal myself.

There, throwing clothes at the bed, was my blonde-headed stepsister, wearing her favorite red lingerie, while sporting a very pissed look.

"So, what can I do for you today Serene?"

She crossed her arms and glared at me, before stomping over her plushy princess-like bed, and plopping her half-naked body down. Trust me, her bed was like a perfect mess of pink. The kind of bed that 3 year old sissies, believing in fairy tales, would like to have. It was full or ribbons, hearts, and sparkles, that made me want to bang my head on a wall. Every hotel we come into, she would always request that her room should either be bedazzled, pink, or big. Well, she always get what she wants, especially from my father.

Especially from him.

"I don't have any dresses for my date with Daniel fucking Earl, that's why." She bit her pink nails carefully, before spitting out a piece of her manicure. It was a habit of hers, especially when she's being stressed.

"Daniel Earl? You mean, The son of Hale Earl?"

Hale Earl was the owner of the Earl Hotel, the rival business of my dad, Klaus Lacryma, whom own's the world's most top hotel known as the "Lacrymosa". Hale and my father used to be the closest of friends, until my father married my mother, Angelica. From what I've heard from the gossips, Hale loved my mom, which led to the destruction of dad and his' relationship.

"Yeah, Daniel Earl. I met him earlier when dad had assembled al-"

"Assembled?" I squinted my eyebrows carefully, sitting beside her.

"Oh, I forgot that you weren't there. Well, Dad called for us at the hotel's garden. He told us that Hale Earl negotiated a business deal with him that will merge Earl and Lacryma together-"

"Woah-woah, wait, and that is?"

Serene looked at me as if she was explaining the color of pink to a child. She took a deep breath before practically squealing the answer, "THROUGH ARRANGED MARRIAGE!"

"And you agreed to it?" I asked her incredulously. I cannot believe this woman. She's supposed to be the eldest, the most calm, and mature person at our so-called "family" But no. I was the "mature one" and does dad notice all my efforts?

No.

"Well, at first, me and the girl looked at each other reluctantly, when all of the sudden-BAM!' She clapped her hands together and stared dreamily at the ceiling. "Daniel, the most hot, gorgeous, handsome man I've ever met, came when dad called him, along with his super cute, youngest brother, Dawson. Dad explained to us, that we're all-including you and Damon of course-"

"Damon?"

"Damon Earl, the second eldest, and the second youngest of the three Earls. We haven't seen him yet. Both of you-at that time, were MIA." She rolled her eyes at me, before adjusting the red strap of her bra.

I nodded processing all the information slowly. I can't believe that dad would actually merge with Hale Earl's business. Maybe it's because we were getting bankrupt. For what reason? I don't know.

"Anyway, Dad told us that we all have to spend our time with each boys. If all the boys had finally taken a liking towards either of us, then the deal would be settled, and they get to pick a couple, whom will inherit the merged company. But if not, then the deal's off."

I shook my head, unable to believe what was happening. "What's with the rush? Actually, What's with the merge and the marriage? Can't they just solve it together without involving marriages between their son's and daughter's? Wouldn't that make things alot worse?"

Serene shrugs and glares at me. "You know what? shut up. It's not even my job to explain things to you, when you're out somewhere. Nobody cares where you've been, but I do." She exclaimed, pointing to her collarbone. Well, she cares for me. Note the sarcasm. "Where the hell have you been anyway?" She continued.

"U-uh, I was out. At a- At a mall." I stutter, alot. Especially when things get quite heated, and I get yelled at for no reason.

"Uh-huh sure. Whatevs. Anyway, you need to find me a dress."

"Why me? you've always hated my sense of fashion." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Well-" She grunts out an unlady-like noise, clearly growing impatient at me. "It's because Daniel's type-are girls who are simple."

Oh, I should feel flattered that she consulted me. Well, I don't. Serene's taste of clothing, is really-extraordinary, if I do say so myself. And the fact that, she chose me, as a sample, wasn't really comforting.

"You, in Jeans? I never thought I'd see that day." I rolled my eyes at her, clearly getting more and more irritated and surprised by the second. I have to go back to reading. I blew a strand of brunette hair, off my face before standing up and rummaging at the floor for her 'simple' clothes.

Before she can even cuss, blame, or react, I threw some pink shirt and some loose jeans at the bed, before opening the steel door to her walk-in closet and taking out a pink converse, which is at a box, clearly not used yet, from a shelf and handing it over to her.

"I wish you could shop for shoes, and shirts with different color, and not always Pink."

"Now-why would I even-"

"Shut up, unless your cosplaying a sharpay character, in jeans, then be my guest. Bye Serene. Good luck with Daniel Earl."

I stomped out, grunting in frustration. This was clearly not my day.
