"Mommy, mommy! I want boo-berry cakes!" Liberty yells while jumping on my bed. "Me too mommy, me too!" Kyle yells while running around my room. I swear these kids are going to be the death of me. I push the covers off of me and stand up groaning, and walk to the kitchen. Liberty and Kyle right behind me. "Libby, Kyle go watch T.V" I say turning around looking at them. Libby (Liberty) and Kyle are my kids, their both my kids, but Kyle is younger by a year. Meaning Libby is three and Kyle is two. Libby never got to meet her real father.. yet, neither did Kyle his father left when he found out I was pregnant. Libby's father never found out about her.
I flip the blue berry pancakes and set the table, pouring two glasses of orange juice and one cup of coffee. "Mommy, After me eat can us go to park?" Libby asked unsure of what my answer would be. "Yes of course, baby" I say flipping the pancakes onto a plate and setting it on the table. I grab two more plates and three forks. I place everything on the table and cut up Libby's and Kyle's pancakes. The kids run in from the living room and sit in their seats. I take a sip of my coffee when the phone rings. I get up and hurry to the living room turning down the T.V. Volume.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Hi honey, how are you? Did the kids eat? Are they up? Do you need anything? Are you okay?" my mother rambles on. She does this everyday, every single day.
"Mom, the kids are eating as we speak, yes we're okay." I answer some of her questions. She let's out a sigh of relief. "What are you guys doing today?" she asks. I let out an annoyed sigh and replied with "We're going to the park and probably going to the music shop or something."
"Okay sweetie have a good day. Love you." " Love you too, bye"
I hang up my phone and go back into the kitchen. The kids are finished eating, and are making a mess with the maple syrup. "Guys stop it. I thought we were over this already, no maple syrup messes." I state obviously pissed. Libby covers her mouth and giggles while Kyle makes an 'O' shape with his mouth and runs away along with Libby. Being a single mom is hard. I clean up the mess and eat whatever is left of my pancakes. After I'm done cleaning I get changed into black jeans, a white strapless lace crop-top, and a red flannel, and also black TOMS. I change Libby into a 'Fancy like mom' graphic-tee, split print leggings, and a blue fake leather jacket, and for shoes she's wearing outer space theme TOMS.
And Kyle's wearing a nirvana romper, black basketball shorts, navy blue varsity jacket, Pokémon, snap-back, and Vans slip on shoes. What? I like my kids to dress nice. "Libby get in the stroller" I say as I pack the diaper bag. I pick up Kyle and carry him on my hip (does that make sense?). "Mommy, can we go to the park now?" Libby whines while buckling her seat belt thing.
I place Kyle in the front seat of the stroller and buckle him in, I put the diaper bag in the bottom of the stroller and grab my purse making sure my house keys, phone, and wallet are in it. I lock the door and then start pushing the stroller towards the park that's close by to our neighbourhood.
On our way to the park I happen to notice a group of young teenage girls following four guys around. The girls are giggling, and screaming, and just look like there a bunch of fan girls. We cross the street and as the guys turn around and shoo-away the girls. Which causes me to laugh. "Mommy hurry up!" Libby whines. That girl has a lot of sass, and she sure as hell never got it from me. "Let's go on the swings!" Libby screams, causing Kyle to nod and giggle.
I put Kyle in a baby swing and Libby in the one next to it. When I hear a group of guys laughing and goofing around... on the playground?
They are the same guys those girls were following around. "Higher!!" Libby yells causing the guys to look over at us. They all look familiar. I push Libby a little higher when I hear someone say.
"Leah? Leah Summers?" I turn around and see all of the boys standing in a line right in front of me.
"Yeah, that's me" I state looking all of them up and down. My eyes stop on the last one, obviously dyed red hair, white t-shirt, red flannel and black Vans shoes, piercing green-grey eyes just like Libby's. "Michael? Luke? Ashton? Calum??" I ask shocked, I thought the day of graduation was the last day I would see them, The day I got knocked up by Michael.
They all nod. "Are you babysitting?" asked Calum. I laugh and shake my head 'no'.
"Sadly no, I wish. This is Liberty or Libby. And this is Kyle." Michael looks taken back when his eyes land on Libby. "Hey you guys look like twins!" Luke says before he points at Michael and I and burst out laughing. Me and Michael look at each other smirking. "Mikey, the fan girls aren't the one's you need to be worrying about. She is!" Ashton exclaims.

I finally got Kyle to sleep and me and Libby are watching a movie when the doorbell rang. I jump up carrying Libby with me. I unlock and open the door revealing four goofy men with smirks on their faces. "How'd yo-" "We went to your mother's house and she gave us the address" Luke says cutting me off. "Well c'mon in" I say moving out of the way so they can enter. "Nice place you got" Ashton says. "Thanks. Oh watch out for the toys" I warn. "Movie night?" Calum asks while looking at all the movies I have. The three bottom shelves have kids movies while the other five have horror movies and a whole bunch of others.
