It was silent after everyone left the house, leaving Hye Eun, Taehyung, Youngjae, and Namjoon behind. Immediately, the four broke off to do whatever they felt like.
"Yo, Taehyung, you wanna watch a movie or something?" Victoria halted said boy in his tracks. As he turned around, he smiled that gummy smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts.
"Sure, what movie?"
"Antman fine?"
"Yep, I'll get some blankets."
Victoria nodded, watching as he ran to the nearest room in search for blankets. She let go the breath she was holding after deciding to ask him the question.
Smooth, real smooth she thought as she smacked herself in the head, quickly composing herself at the sound of footsteps. The sight of Taehyung's head buried behind what looked like about 5 fluffy blankets was enough to send Victoria into hysteria and forget all about her nervousness.
"I'm back." Taehyung peeped from behind the covers and he smiled once more, just enough to make Victoria blush at how cute he was acting.
"I can see that." She coughed to cover up her blush as she pulled her legs up to her chest, almost falling over when Taehyung plopped down next to her.
"You don't think two blankets were enough?"
"I was going to get one but the others looked so lonely, so I grabbed them all."
Victoria shook her head and smiled. Suddenly, her view was obstructed by Taehyung's arm as he got comfortable.
"H-hey, what're you doing?!" She mumbled from behind him, glaring up at him.
"Just getting comfortable, you need a blanket?"
She shoved his arm from in front of her face, only for him to wrap it around her shoulders. She stiffened at his touch, even more so upon hearing him deeply chuckle.
"You're really cute when you blush like that, you know?"
"I-I have a boyfriend."
"Oh, of course you do. I'm sure whoever this boyfriend of yours is, he's super lucky to be able to call you his."
Victoria rolled her eyes, the blush prominent on her ears. Taehyung chuckled. Everything was going fine in the movie department.
All the while, in the kitchen, Youngjae and Namjoon were busy cleaning the hoard of dishes leftover from breakfast, trying their best not to interrupt the adorably cute scene they overheard in the living room.
"He's such a kid sometimes, but smooth." Namjoon commented, nodding after he heard a soft yelp come from the living room.
"I bet he got it from his hyung."
"Me?"
"No, Jin." Namjoon teasingly slapped Youngjae on the back of the head with a dish towel he was using to dry dishes.
"I bet you got your jokes from your 'oppa' too, they suck."
"And you swallow." Youngjae couldn't help but laugh at her own little joke, even though it was heavily overused, it was still funny.
"Oh shut it, 메뚜기."
"Don't call me that."
"I'll call you what I want, 메뚜기."
"Fine then, call me what you please." Youngjae menacingly washed off a paring knife that Namjoon was sure no one used earlier.
"Don't stab my face, please."
Finally, at the park, everyone piled out of the two cars (one rented because why not).
"Aish, Jimin, keep your hands off of me, thank you."
"No promises, jagiya. ~" Jimin blew a kiss at Daimsu, who, in return, swatted it away.
Jihyun laughed at the two as she stretched, thankful that she was finally out of the cramped car. She almost slapped Hoseok in the face, who was about to ask her a question.
"Hoseok, you should watch where you're going."
He just smiled and shrugged it off.
"Hey, do you want to swing or something? I saw a path on the way here, maybe we can walk?"
Jihyun rubbed her chin in thought.
"Sounds cute, why not?"
Hoseok's smile widened and he jumped in excitement, grabbing Jihyun's hand in the process. But Jihyun couldn't help but let her mind wander back to the house. They can't like each other, right? That'd be ludicrous. Youngjae. Namjoon. Aish, this is getting annoying. Her face scrunched up in annoyance. She'd save the paranoid thoughts for the ride back.
By the swings were Hannah and Yoongi, who were taking turns pushing each other.
"You sure you're tall enough? I think there's a height requirement."
"Hannah, I'm, like, 9 centimeters taller than you."
"Shut it, grandpa, I could barely tell with you pushing so weakly. You should work out more."
"Anything for you, Hannah." Yoongi dramatically sighed, leaving from behind Hannah.
"Hey, pusher boy, get back here!"
Sae Rin and Jungkook had just finished renting a Tandem bike, since it was cheaper than renting two bikes. Also, it provided a nice bonding experience for blooming couples, or that's what the bike rental lady said. For all Sae Rin knew, it provided a lot of awkward stops and suspicious thoughts (Juan took the back seat).
"Are you sure you can see back there, I mean, I wouldn't mind trading seats." Sae Rin took a cautious look behind her, causing the two to almost fall onto their sides.
"Yeah, I'm fine, although I'd love it if you kept your eyes ahead of you."
"Sure thing, Juan." Jungkook was by far very comfortable with the nickname that Sae Rin immediately started calling him once she arrived. If it meant he got to call her any time after his break for a date, he'd endure it for thirteen more days.
"Hey, Jungkook, I asked you a question."
Jungkook shook himself from the trance he got caught in after getting lost in the lovely locks people call hair.
"Y-yeah, what is it?"
"What's Taehyung into nowadays? You know, since I haven't talked to him in such a long time."
"Why Tae?" Jungkook quickly regretted what he said and made a mental note to scream into a pillow later.
"Because he's my brother and I love him. Why? Are you jealous?" Sae Rin chuckled into the wind rushing past.
"I've got no reason to be, he's your brother."
"Well then, in that case, we're going Christmas shopping tomorrow, early, so we have enough time to look around wherever we're going."
"Like a date?" Jungkook teased.
"I bet you'd like that."
