Chapter 3 Chen The Troll King

Sehun p.o.v

First period was language class. Everyone had to go for Chinese lesson and that includes Leena and Yun Ji. The Chinese teacher came in and taught us how to comunicate about directions.

The Korean members especially EXO K focused more in this class as we would be travelling to China often together with EXO M. I saw Kris helping Yun Ji and Lay helping Leena as they were both Chinese.

I scribbled down my notes as fast as I could and tried practicing it with Luhan, who constantly laughed at my attempt. He thinks it cute. Though , I have to agree I'm cute. The teacher then gave us opportunities to try out our Chinese skills with the rest of the class. I went to Chen first and practiced.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Chen asked with a confused face once I was done.

"Where's the nearest toilet." I said showing him my book.

"That's wrong. Here, let me help you rewrite it." He said and took my notebook and pen. He neatly canceled whatever I wrote and rewrite something else. "You should try it on Leena. See if she understands. If you do it well, she might be impressed." he patted me on the back and walked off to join Chanyeol.

"Thanks hyung." I said as he walked away. I practiced it in my mind as I walked to Leena. The sentence was quite long although I just needed directions to the toilet. I approached Leena asked her if I could practice my Chinese skills on her and she gladly said yes.

I spoke confidently and read whatever was written down by Chen. Her smile then turned into laughter and tears were almost coming out of her eyes. is my chinese really that bad?!

"Do you know what you just said, Sehun?" She asked still laughing.

"I asked for directions to the nearest toilet...."

"No, you said that you were a parrot who's feathers is hair and it's bipolar as it likes to change colours." She said laughing again.

"KIM JONG DAE!" I said at the top of my voice.

Chen stood in front of me giving Chanyeol a fist bump and laughing. The Troll King has done it again. He then came up to me and gave me a bro hug as an apology.

//AFTER CLASS//

"Other then saying what I said just now, I have learnt a new sentence." I said to Leena as we were going for our recess .

"Really?"

" Nǐ shì měilì de." I said smiling to myself. "It means you're beautiful. "

She kept quite for a moment then said "Of course I'm beautiful. Otherwise Oh Sehun won't want to be seen with me." She blushed then walked ahead with Yun Ji , her new best friend.

Leena p.o.v

Yun Ji is my new best friend. She's the girl sitting next to Kris. She is really friendly and smart. She was also a new student and is the same age as me.

"So where do you stay?" I asked her as we munched on our sandwich. We tried getting to know each other more to make things less awkward to me but she seems fine with everything.

"Just down the road actually." She said. "You should come over sometime. It gets really boring when I at home alone with my sister."

"I would love too, Yun Ji!" I said smiling. "How long have you been in this school?" I asked.
