Omniscient pov

Taylor went into her best friend's empty house and walked around.
She looked at a picture of her friend and dried a few tears that fell.

Rylee hogan

"Yes, I'm very strange. Good thing it builds character."

After the funeral rylee's mom decided to take a long trip far away.

Taylor went into Rylee's room and found the leather book sitting on the unmade bed.

She picked it up and read every page.

"I never knew I did this to her." She said and closed the book.

"Taylor. We have to go." Her boyfriend said.

"I don't want to.."

"Call me when you do." He said and walked out.
She looked at the cork board.

..Flashback..

"Tay."

"Yeah."

"I did something." Rylee said with a smile on her face.

"What?" Taylor asked cautiously.
Rylee held out her hand and Taylor took it. They ran up to her room and she showed her the cork board.

The outer lining had Polaroids of them together and individually and in the middle there was a map of the world.

"Well?"

"What is it?" Taylor asked.

"I've got plans for us kid. You and me. We're traveling the world baby!" Rylee said. Her enthusiasm was infectious.

"Let's do this." Taylor said. "First stop.."

"Italy." Rylee said and put a pin on Italy.

..flashback end..

The two had traveled to 67 countries in their short lives.
Taylor took the cork board down and kept it with her.

"I'm gonna do this. For you kid." She said to one of the individual pictures of Rylee.

She called wren and he picked her up.

"What is that?"

"We. Um. Had this plan when we were kids. We were gonna travel the entire world. I'm gonna do it for her."

"You two went to a lot of places."

"Yeah. When we got to the continent or island we would make sure to spend a little time in every country."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No."

"Ouch."

"It's nothing personal. It's just. This was our thing. Just us y'know?"

"Yeah. I get it. Where are you gonna go next?"

"Argentina sounds like a good time."

"Argentina it is." He said.
