"And so children, you see all it takes is a little faith, trust, and pixie dust" I look down at all my students. They have big, round eyes full of wonder. One girl raises her hand with great urgency.
"Yes Mary?"
"Did you really meet Peter pan?!" She quickly asked.
"Yes I did. He is absolutely wonderful, and so are the lost boys" I stood up.
"Now, story time is over children, go sit down and get back to work" each one stood up with protest and went back to their seats. Just then, a knock sounded at the door and in stepped a man. A young man, he looked so familiar, like a dream.
"Pardon my entry, but I'm here to see Mary" he spoke while clearing his throat. Mary stood and ran to the man, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards me.
"Ms. Darling! His name is Peter too! Just like your stories" the man locked eyes with me, recognition burning in them.
"Hello, Ms. Darling" he whispered
"Hello sir" I replied. The bell tower rang in the distance, signaling the end of school.
"Come along Peter, mother will want us home soon" Mary groaned tugging on his sleeve.
"Goodbye Mary"
"Goodbye Ms. Darling!" Mary exclaimed. There was something about that young man, that was so peculiar. He was so different from Pan, yet so similar. But Pan was just a boy whom I loved so dearly. Although, how could a boy love a grown up?

It was now six o'clock and I was walking through the streets towards home when someone caught my attention. There, across the street, stood Peter looking at the darkened sky. I hadn't realized that I had been starring until he noticed me.
"Miss? Miss!" He reached out as if to touch me and ran across the street. He came to a slow stop and stood in front of me, towering over.
"Hello Ms. Darling" he sighed
"Hello" I whispered looking down. He held my chin between his index and thumb and tilted it up.
"If I may, what is your name?" He questioned
"Wendy"
"I knew it was you" he laughed
"I'm sorry, but I don't know you"
"Wendy, its me Peter Pan!" He said frantically
"Pan? Oh Peter it really is you!" I exclaimed throwing my arm around his neck.
"Oh Peter I thought you forgot about me" I cried
"Me? Forget? Never! But, you closed the window" he said backing away.
"Oh you poor boy, it was open. But you never came, I had too Peter - I had to grow up" I said with a broken heart.
