It's been a week since I came back from Chicago. Harry and I barely speak when we're near each other. It's weird not having him argue with me about something so insignificant. Evan and I haven't been on the best of terms either and I know it's my fault. I snapped at Evan for the whole naked thing and it was honestly overdramatic to say the least.
I wanted to make it up to him tonight by bring him to Abbey's birthday party tonight. She invited me and told me to bring Evan, hopefully it cheers him up. I know the party is at one of the most upscale clubs in Manhattan, so I know Evan will like it.
Abbey invited me to a shopping spree with her and Cara. I was excited to hang out woth them again, but I also wanted to cry at the prices of the clothing we were currently looking at.
"Chanel is timeless. I think I'll wear this tonight, what do you guys think?" Abbey asks, while holding a black sequin dress.
"It looks a little too low cut. You don't want your tits hanging out." Cara comments, making Abbey roll her eyes.
"We're models, it's nothing no has seen before."
Cara laughs, "Wait, I'm a model? That is so weird."

I admire they're carefree friendship, making me realise I need girlfriends of my own. One's that have the same budget as me though.
"What about you Charlotte? You didn't buy anything."
I shrug, "I'm probably gonna wear something I already have."
"Oh come on! Every girl needs something Chanel in her closet."
Cara nods in agreement, "We'll help you look for something.
I want to refuse, but maybe I'll find something in my price range. We walk around and I sneakily look at all the price tags, yikes.
"Ooh what about this?" Abbey holds up a gorgeous lavender suede skirt, making me think how good it would looked paired with my cream lace top.
"I love it!" I exclaim, then I remember what store we're in and reality sets in, "Uh, what's the price?"
Abbey turns the tag around, "$250"
I had to choke back my tears, $250?!? That's how much I paid rent for my old apartment! Ugh, why was couture so expensive? I tried to breathe and just maybe see my options, but my budget was scolding me from my shoulder.
"Guys, I can't afford this skirt." I admit.
Abbey and Cara turned around, with smirks on their faces, "We were gonna pay for your skirt, you dingus!" Abbey tells me and Cara is nodding.
I felt overwhelmed, I couldn't let them pay for my skirt either! I hate feeling like a freeloader.
