Chapter 3

Jessy POV (picture above is her):

Tink quickly yelled into mine and my sister Alex's room waking us up for tge first day of school. Alex quickly climbed off her bunk bed and ran to the kitchen for breakfast. I, however, dragged my lazy butt out of bed and groggily walked into the bathroom. I turned on the shower, peeling off what little clothes I had on. I quickly learned that the water heater was out once I climbed in.
"Damn water." I squeaked. The cold water quickly woke me up. I hurries and finished my shower. Tripping out of the tub.
I quickly rushed with getting ready. Once I felt ready enough to leave I yelled out, "I'm on my way to school! See you whenever I get home!"
"Bye, sweetie!" Tink hollared back.
I ran through the complex parking lot, just as the bus was pulling away, with my older brother on it. "God fucking damnit!" I dropped my bag on the ground trying to control my anger, just as a car pulled up. The girl inside rolled down her window.
"Hey, are you going to the High School?" She yells through the window.
   "Yes." I quickly say.
   "I can give you a ride?"
   I open the passenger door and climb in, thanking her.
   "You're new here. Right?"
   "Yes, I moved in with my side this last summer." I didn't really want to talk or say anything, but I glanced over at her and realized she was the girlfriend to him. I felt my stomach drop.
   "I think I remember seeing you at the concert?" She studied me for a second then moved her eyes back on the road. Then she gasped. "Ah ha!" She cried. "You're the girl that was checking out my friend!" She had this ear to ear smile.
   "Friend? It looked like a lot more than friendship.."
   She laughed shaking her head. "Oh no, I'm gay. He was helping me get rid of this crazy dude." She kept laughing to herself.
   We pulled up to the High School and walked inside side by side. We split in different directions and left to class.
    The day went by slowly and I'm hlad there was many new students so no one was introduced. When lunch rolled around, I wandered the school silently. I must look like a creep.. I thought to myself. I found a plain and empty spot to sit down.
   "Can I join you?" I looked up to see bright green eyes and black hair looking at me.
   "Sure?" I looked at him closely as he sat down next to me. He looked around 5'11 and he was skinny. His black hair was longer and swept to the side.
   "I'm Gabe," he said, streching out his hand for me to shake. "And you are beautiful."
   "Thanks.." I shrugged. "I'm Jes." I took his hand hoping he would let go quickly, but instead he held onto it and kept a firm grip. He stared at my face, making me feel uncomfortable. Luckily I heard the bell and got up excusing myself. What the hell just happened?
