I looked in the mirror with absolute horror as my bridesmaids danced around me, giggling and trying to perfect the evil powders on my face. There was blush on my face. So far, this wedding was my worst nightmare. At least it was being held in Jake and I's new house instead of the terrifyingly girly dining hall my bridesmaids petitioned for.

"Hey girls!" shouted the Best Man Builder, now known as Bobby.

"Yeah Bobby?" replied my Maid of Honor, Jumper, now known as Juniper.

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"Terence's here! Let's get this show on the roll!"

"Got it!" she added. Juniper leaned over and wiped at my make up before leading the rest of my bridesmaids out the door.

I watched them go, and leaned over to check the make up in the mirror. Too much. With a quick glance over my shoulder to check for anyone watching me, I scraped off the eye shadow and replaced it with a more natural shade. Then I flipped the veil over my face and looked into the one way glass on the wall to my left. Guests walked in beside it, and I smiled as they brushed their hair or checked their teeth in front of it. Terence walked by and was intercepted by Jake. I leaned in close and listened to what they were saying.

"Hey Terence, how are you?"

"Great! I suppose I don't need to ask you...it is, after all, your wedding day!"

"Yes, yes it is." A girl walked in front of glass and I heard Jake greet her.

"Oh Jake, this Terry. She's my new girlfriend."

The girl in front of the glass smiled and shook Jake's outstretched hand. I smiled. She was brunette and lightly freckled. Polite, too. Good choice, Terence.

"By the way, you need to see Jez. She's waiting in the room around the corner, I think."

"Okay, I'll head back there now. Terry, why don't you take a seat and I'll join you."

I ran back to my seat and nearly knocked it over in my hurry. When Terence came in I was puckering and perfecting my lip liner.

"Da, da, da dum..." Terence put his hands on my shoulders and I rolled my eyes and put the lip liner down.

"Hey Terence."

"What? No, how are you? No, did you have a safe trip here? No, how'd you meet Terry?" Terence nodded at the glass and I turned around to smile at him.

"Okay, so maybe I am curious," I replied. "Is she the girl who tripped and fell into your arms?"

"The very one."

"I hope she's not too clumsy today. I don't want to be trading dance partners and have her flip me over at the reception."

Terence jokingly backhanded my head and I turned around and wrestled him to the ground, one arm yanked far up his back. "Say uncle!" I yelled.

"Uncle, uncle!" Terence laughed.

I got off of him and we sat and smiled at each other. "So, how are things with you?" he asked.

"Good, good. We've found a family for almost every mutant...well, except for the harder cases, like the wolf man. They get to work within the government. But on the bright side, everything is bought for them! The government also gave Jake and I the credit we needed to go to college, so we're currently attending Stanford...Also, Jake and I have enough inheritance money that we'll be financially stable for years and years. The buffet has ribs, so I'm good..." I rambled this out at random and Terence rolled his eyes.
