Chapter 4 ~ Job Day

🔑Lucy's POV🔑
I woke up and looked around my room.
Eh? No Natsu and Happy? I guess I'll meet them at the guild.
I opened my shower room door to see...
"NATSU?????"
Happy and Natsu were taking a bath. I adverted my eyes from them.
"Yo, Luce!"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY SHOWER?"
"We got bored waiting for you so we decided to take a bath."
"GET THE HELL OUT!!!"
🔥Natsu's POV🔥
Happy and I sat on Luce's couch, waiting for her to get ready.
Damn, she takes a long time...
"Quick guys! Before Landlady catches us!" Lucy walks out of the bathroom flustered, urging us to leave.
"What's the rush?"
"If landlady finds me here, she'll ask for rent now and when I say I don't have enough she'll start nagging about it!" Lucy whined.
I smelled something. It smelt unfamiliar.
*Sniff* *Sniff*
"Natsu? What's wrong?"
I slam my hand over Lucy's mouth and grabbed her and Happy and jumped out the window. Happy soon wiggled out of my grasp and flew out, leaving Lucy and I to hit the hard ground. Lucy was safe...after using me as a cushion.
Happy is right...she is heavy...
"NATSU? WHAT THE HELL!"
I slowly explained to her.
"I smelt your landlady and needed a quick way to get out of the house okay? Just stay here until the coast is clear and then we run to the guild."
She nodded.
I looked at the door to the place as it closed shut. Perfect.
I signaled for them to run. The three of us ran as fast as our legs could until Lucy's house was out of sight.
🔑Lucy's POV🔑
"*Pant**Pant*" Natsu and Happy are seriously too fast. The two of them slowed to a walk. Soon, I caught up to them. We walked to the guild at a leisured pace, talking about what job we should get. I noticed the people on the streets whispering to each other.
Probably some gossip.
We finally reached a the guild when something unexpected happened...
