Akino nervously seated in front of her father, secretly hoping inside her head that she had gracefully bended her knees that of a true lady with manners. For she have to impress him, to let him know that she have been listening attentively to Mrs. Ashiya's lessons of 'etiquette'. By etiquette it means table manners, the proper way to house a guess or to be a guess and tge proper way to present oneself to people that matter.
"You asked for me, father?" she confidently asked.
"I . . . I am sending you to Hokkaido." with a pause he let her daugther absorb this. "You'll transfer to Hainan this semester." he continued with a defeated sigh.
Akino knew he's not yet finish but it did not stop herself from standing abruptly. Forgetting what she practiced for over a month as she hastily crossed the space, kneeling and hugging him tightly. I will enter Hainan next semester and that means I'll be with Aru. I will be seeing Aru. I will be seeing Aru. These sentences rang in her head again and again.
"Akino, listen." Oda started, again, still incased her embrace. At that she quickly loosen the hug and backed a little bit.
"I want you to be careful there." her father with that worried voice and that worried face that has always been with him when the matter is about Akino.
"I am careful and father Aru will be there. We'll watch each other's backs you know we always do."
"I know, Akino, I know . . . . But I want you to keep Ace by your side, always." pointing one finger upward.
"I always do father. . . . . . So when do I leave?" Akino asked excitedly.
He sighed. "As much as I wanted you here I cannot let you start that late. You will have to leave in two days."
And here I am!
Akino lowered the car's window. Kaido greeted her with busy streets and the smell of the city. The wind whips through her hair as the car passes by tge highway overseeing the tall buildings of Hokkaido. The smell of the city is not her liking as she closed the car window.
"Were here Akino-chan." Hamlet announced, the Hasegawa family's oldest driver.
"Thank you Hammie. Will you wait for me here, the principal wanted to talk to me before we go to the girl's dormitory."
"Of course. Take your time."
She left her satchel in the car but knowing that where she's going is a school she took her pen and her phone ,of course, with her. She stepped out of the car and faced an enormous building. The institution before her is a classic, nearly ancient building that looks no where near like a school. Hainan is a one-30-story building. It stretches wide, alomost half kilometer wide. It has a phere like drive way and the glass door sure is wide for a door that its like a gate. Akino looked back at the gate of the campus. It was wide open and she don't see any students. Oh, right it's Sunday. She entered the school-but-not-so-like-school; it looks like a Vatican City building. Inside she felt insecure as she peered down on her casual clothes, her white sleeveless top was tucked in her black jeans matched by a maroon colored flat boots. She ignored the feeling and stood before a wide red-carpeted stairs. It was not likely a stairs for it only had like 5 steps. There at the top stood a lady dressed in dark slacks and pale blue blouse. Akini just stared at her until she spoke.
"Miss Hasegawa follow me please, the principal is waiting for you in her office." She instructed as she gracefully take the stairs to her right ajoining a lobby. Akini followed the lady with Ace still invisibly following her. Well as she was instructed to let him accompany her everywhere she go not that he won't follow her anywhere anyway. Tge two reached the office and the lady opened the door for Akino to get in before she closed it. The interior is as ancient as the building's exterior. And there seated behind the mahogany bed-wide desk is the Principal Laye Akamoto. It says in her glassy name plate. Principal Laye looked at her student right in the eye. Her eyes are bright blue and they are as bright as stars. It is in contrast to her silvery hair. Akino took a few steps forward. Tge old lady's face looks strict until she smiled. From there the girl saw Laye's beauty slowly fading with her youth.
