*Warning P.O.V.s change a lot.*

Lucia's P.O.V.

"Any last words thy would like to say before you, Lucia, former archangel of Heaven, are cast from this holly ground." Gabriel said, his voice leaking with disgust.

Not less than three night ago, he was still my friend. Now after all this time of servitude, they all turned their backs of me. They were my brother and sisters of creation. Notice to see that one big mistake could change all that.

"What good will it do to speak, when thy closest to myself, have turned their hearts to stone? What is the point when words fall firmly on deaf ears? Gabriel, just get on with already." I spat the words.

My oldest friend, then nodded. He too had turned on me, like so many before him.

"Then, by the verdict of God, we send you to the human realm. May your sins haunt you for eternity. When death comes to claim you, Lucia, piece by piece your soul will rip apart until it reaches Hell. Good-bye, sinner."

Closing my eyes, I waited for the unbearable pain to come.

David's P.O.V. (Beta)

Looking out the window, I frowned at how dark the clouds were getting. If this hits it's going to be one hell of a storm.

"David, go help get the children into the emergency shelter. News said that there is a possible tornado. " The Alpha said through the mind link.

"Yes, sir. On my way." I messaged back. Down the stairs and past the dinning room, many of the pack's pups were ushered into the large underground room. It looked like a giant underground garage, wide enough to fit a boat load of people. You see, our pack has over two hundred living hear, while the other's have their own homes.

This is the main pack house, over 500 archers of forests, and woodland areas. Most humans would just see this place as a huge mansion, but here the Alpha holds all the power. I'm second in command, beta blood runs through my veins.

One of the elder's come over to my side. Her grey streaked red hair, instantly reminds me of her name. This would be Kelly, the alpha's grandmother.

"David, there you are! We've been looking for you everywhere." her voice full of warmth.

"Sorry, Luna. I just got back from town. Alpha asked me to come down and help you lovely ladies. " A smile turning up the corners of my lips.

"Well, we better stop standing here like a knob on a log, and get moving." Her bubble laugh, drifted around the room.

Together, we had just gotten everyone in when the storm came.

The storm that I will never be able to forget...

Lucia's P.O.V.

It felt like my libs were being ripped off of my body, my organs; like they had been stabbed with red hot knives. As thunder rocked the sky, so did my screams. Unrestrained, gut retching agony!

My nails dug into my palms, blood dripping from them to the ground. My immortality stolen, ripped from my body. Nothing could describe the loss I felt in that moment, mixed with the crushing pain enveloping my body. My legs gave out, my throat growing raw from the never ending cries.

Tears leaked from my tightly clenched eyes, yet nothing I could do would stop them. This was my weakness, as I lay broken, bleeding, and rejected.

It felt like hours, years even, until the pain slowly drifted away. Deep inside, I felt empty, like the empty shell of the person I use to be. I never thought Heaven was cruel, but here, in this moment, the truth came rushing forward.

What justice is there in this?

A sin, for all this torture. Maybe it would be easier to just fall into the hate, make them feel suffering just like they showed me.

They broke me, laughed as my heart bleed crimson, but somewhere deep inside my mind, a little voice told me to keep on fighting. This battle wasn't over, this was just the tragic beginning.

"God has let you keep his gift of flight, but many wish it not. Thy have tasted the poison of your own deeds. Immortality, that thy will not take with you, taken from you angel. Now, let us wash away the sinner, and with her go the sin. " Gabriel said, his eyes never meeting my own.

The audience clasped hands, willing a door leading towards man to open and dragged me down. A swirling black hole opened up under my feet.

Down.

Down, I feel into the darkness....

David's P.O.V.

The wind howled, it's screaming could be heard even in the safe house. As I looked over at the young ones, fear clouded in their eyes. With my sensitive hearing, one little voice captured my attention.

Sitting in one of the little corners, a little boy sat praying. Brown hair fell over his eyes, a scar running over one of his eyes. This must be one of the orphans, his parents killed by rogues.

"Please protect us, God. Make the storm go away, and leave us alone. Please don't take us all away like Mommy and Daddy.." A tear ran down his scared face.

Sighing, I went over to him. My wolf whimpered at seeing him so sad. I didn't even know the child's name, but something about him made stop. As I can closer the child turned his head to look at me. The pain clouding in his grey eyes surprised me. He must of seen so many horrible things to get that look.

"Hi, what's your name little guy?" I asked, my voice turning soft.

"Devin." was all that he said.

Smiling, I eased myself down beside him. My body dwarfed Devin's, nearly six times larger.

"Is it okay that I sit here with you?" I asked.

"O-okay." Devin gave a little shrug.

Together, we sat there for what felt like hours. Devin only answering my questions with a word, yet still I asked. Soon the boy fell asleep, his head resting on my shoulder. Smiling, I rapped an arm around him.

In that moment, I made a prayer of my own...

"Thank you, God. Thank you for saving Devin."

Lucia's P.O.V.

Just as soon as the dark vortex had dragged me in, it spit me out. Into screaming winds, and flooding rain, I fell down to the world of man.

My wings worked frantically to slow the fall, water blinding my vision. My wet hair stuck to my face, making the whole thing much harder.

Faster and fast, the ground came into view. My heart was shattered, my life destroyed, friends hated me, so why was I fighting?

Closing my eyes, I let it all go.

The pointless anger, the pain coming from my chest.

With a small smile, she fell to her death....
