Chapter 2: Get ready

Ryan's POV

My eyes flashed opened.I blinked,everything seems so blurry around me.I sat up from the ground and I slid my hand though my hair"the hell happened yesterday?"I muttered as I touched my neck.I weakly got to my feet and wobbled to the door

I lightly touched the door nob"was it really a dream?"or did it really happen"I grabbed the nob and twisted it.My whole body shook as I opened the door.With a step I got out of my room.Good thing it's morning,I could've died.I touched my chest"my heart is going to burst or something"I thought as I took steps downstairs

My head looked side to side quickly as I hear a glass shattered in the living room.I jumped and turned my whole body to that direction"who's there?"I said.The whole room seem silent.I gulped and looked around once again"where's my bat"I thought as I looked beside the stairs to spotted it."ah thank god"I got a hold of it and walked towards to the living room

I clenched my baseball bat and walked quietly to see a little girl back.I stopped in my tracks.I dropped my bat"Tia?!Tia is that you?"l asked"little sis it's me".She stood there and slowly turned her head towards me.A smiled grew on my face"ah thank god your a..."suddenly she launched at me and made me fall in my back.She snarled and growled trying to bite me.I held her shoulders back so she can't get close"Tia?!"I asked.

She kept trying to get to my face making clicks sounds with her teeth snarling."she's looks exactly how that police officer looked like"I held her back with one hand tightly and kicked her back.She hit the cabinets and looked stare right at me.I panted"T-Tia what happened to you"I whispered horrified.She gave a growl and crawled quickly towards me.I couldn't.I just couldn't fight her.Then a gun shot filled the whole room

I jumped and looked at Tia who was now lying dead with blood gushing out.I gagged a little and covered my mouth"who the hell?!"I muttered and looked to the side of me.My eyes widened with shock"Ethan?!Ethan what the hell?why did you shoot her!"my throat started to throb.here here let me tell you something he's my bully.I fucking hate this asshole."she wasn't human Ryan"he replied glaring at me.

I shook my head"Shut up Shut up your making this up"I covered my ears looking down.He bent down in front of me"Ryan"he replied.My head looked up to him.A slap filled the living room.The side of my left cheek started to burn up I quickly grabbed my cheek"Asshole!why did you do that?!?"I yelled

He gave me a lifeless look more like no emotion look."Because you being an idiot"he replied and grabbed my collar neck of my shirt"get your shit together or you'll get us both killed"he added.I starred at him"my shit together?!you fucking killed my sister!my sister"my yells turned to little whimpers

"You killed Tia"I whispered sobbing and covering my eyes"my only family"."well I shot my only family"he replied.i looked up to him"what do you mean?"I asked"I mean I shot both of my parents"he replied 

My eyes blinked"you shot who?!why?".Cause Ryan you have to make risks,and I made a risk either to die or live"he replied"and I'm not happy about it so don't think it wasn't hard".I kept staring at him"a-alright"I muttered as I got to my feet

He shoved something in my arms"get ready"he said and walked.I hesitated a bit and walked quickly behind him"it's time to face reality".He opened the door

I looked at my arms to see a gun"I gotta shoot these things?!"I asked"yes so man up and get ready,you wanna live right?".I gave a little nod"great I'm with the person I hate the most risking my life?!
