Selina's POV
We swung over the city. It felt good to be in our old costumes. Finally free from those horrible orange jumpsuits. There was no way to make those look good.
In the distance I could see the Gotham City Animal Shelter. I'd started living there when Batman found out where I lived. My car, a beautiful black Ferrari was still in the drive.
"There!" I shouted.
"Where?" Harley replied.
"The animal shelter, my home!"
"Oh!" Harley shouted back. She shouted a lot.Ivy commanded her vines to stop a few streets away from where we were going. It was to make sure we lost any cops who could be tailing us. Then we went down alleys, twists and turns to get to the shelter.
"This is creepy" Harley announced when we arrived "I love it!" I smiled. Somehow I knew Harley would like living in an abandoned animal shelter. It just seemed like her thing. Ivy was not as impressed.
"What is this?" She moaned. "It looks manky" I couldn't blame her for that. It was a grotty old building.
"My home" I said. "It is kind of manky, maybe you could add some flowers" She was silent. I didn't know why that annoyed me so much. She was always like that. "If you don't like it, you can go and find your own home!" I practically shouted. I knew how powerful Ivy was, and that was why I instantly regretted it. Ivy raised an eyebrow. I tried desperately to hide my fear.Surprisingly, Ivy ignored me and trudged inside, following a very over-excited Harley. I really needed to get a lock on the door. I guess Ivy was just trying to keep her cool for Harley. We both did most of the time. It just seemed wrong to fight in front of her, especially after all she'd been through.
